Chief Master at Arms (CMAA) Evals


NIOC MAryland Chief Master at Arms and command investigator. Senior Chief was crucial to maintaining good order and discipline for nearly 2200 Sailors through his coordination of 247 DRB/XOI/NJP proceedings and subsequent management of 93 restricted and extra duty personnel. As the Anti-Terrorism Officer he processed 83 Overseas screening packages ensuring compliance with NIOC MD and Naval instruction. His expertise spilled over to the direct support of Fleet Cyber Command (C10F) and U.S. Cyber Command.




As Chief Master at Arms Assistant, she demonstrated outstanding organizational ability and efficiency by revising the command ATFP and uniform instruction, creating seven armory standard operating procedures, developing the gun qualification tracker and making entries for over 400 personnel across 12 duty sections. MA2 ensured continuous mission readiness by providing on-the-job training to 22 sailors which effectively led to a 100% board completion rate, watch bill flexibility and 14 new qualified Duty Master-At-Arms and Duty Armorers.




Expertly trained, managed and led 16 out-of-rate staff Sailors in all facets of the CMAA office to create, investigate, and complete 179 CLEOC, conduct 256 critical and potentially dangerous prisoner transfers to and from COMNAVBRIG Miramar to include 654 medical, dental, and legal appointments. The UPC office conducted and collected more than 11,000 urinalysis tests and collections for 88 staff members and a daily average of 300 transient Sailors.




MA1 provided training and guidance to a new out of rate CMAA in the clinic, assisting in the proper planning and execution of 64 random Anti-Terrorism measures and five pre-planned Response Drills. He provided training to seven AMAA in proper search, handcuffing, and subject control, allowing the NBHC Clinic to be self sufficient when calls for security services are needed by the Behavior Health Department, decreasing the dependence on Subase Security Department and increasing efficiency for patient transport to civilian medical facilities. Additionally, he served as a liaison between SUBASE Security Department and NBHC Groton CMAA during Operation Citadel Shield/Solid Curtain allowing NBHC Groton staff to establish Charlie FPCON measures within 10 minutes as well as provide up to date real world intel to the Chain of Command about developing situations.




During his tenure, he expertly managed the safety and security of 11,200 Sailors in five different operations throughout the command resulting in ensuring mission ready Sailors for 65 commands and operations, on time and on target. As the CMAA and Legal LCPO, he led 37 Sailors in the completion of 191 major correspondence reports, revising three command instructions in order to efficiently process Sailors, ultimately ensuring good order and discipline.
