Aviation Medicine Technician


- SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT. He fostered a professional health care environment which prepared over 700 Medical and Dental records and maintained a monthly average of 92.9 percent Individual Medical Readiness across all Strike Fighter Squadrons in CVW-17. His efforts led to an unprecedented 96.2 percent score on the annual CNAF inspection which resulted in earning the CNAF "Blue M" for FY 17. Dedicated to the wellness of Sailors, he promoted eight different monthly topics in compliance with the Navy's Health and Wellness program.




- MEDICAL MENTOR. He is an invaluable asset to Futenma clinic while providing all available patient care services to include Audiograms, AVR, BMR, Immunizations, and Optometry. He participated in the Futenma clinic $10M building redesign and provided key insight into the layout of patient rooms and the flow of patient services. Researched and coordinated with staff to ensure all spaces had appropriate equipment and furniture.




Aviation Medicine Technician Petty Officer Third Class. Expertly tracked and managed the readiness for three squadrons and Carrier Air Wing THREE staff. His unmatched work ethic and dedication led to a medical readiness rate above 90% for three consecutive months.



U.S. Navy Aviation Medicine



Aviation Medicine Technician onboard Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 7, Task Force 124 Tinker Air Force Base from XXXXXX to XXXXXX. Hospitalman Kelly demonstrated exceptional medical skills in support of six medical providers and 1,124 patient encounters. Additionally, she organized and managed an Authorized Medical Allowance List valued at more than $2,000,000. She also developed and oversaw a readiness tracking system which contributed to sustaining readiness above 93% for four commands.




Senior Aviation Medicine Technician. HM2 demonstrated extraordinary commitment and played a supervisory role in the completion of 258 initial flight physicals, 977 flight physicals, 865 medical exams, 252 sick call appointments, 765 audiograms, and 626 EKGs for the military Medicine Department.




HM2 Jones demonstrated outstanding meritorious service while attached as Senior Aviation Medicine Technician. As the Senior Aviation Medicine Technician, HM2 Jones assisted in the management of the day to day responsibilities of Aviation Medicine and skillfully provided guidance to 4 enlisted personnel. His actions led to his selection as the Junior Sailor of the Year for Naval Branch Health Clinic Key West. HM2 managed and scheduled templates for 4 clinics and 2 providers providing 88 appointments weekly totaling 3,500 annually. His efforts helped to keep access to care available for all active duty and dependants seen in the military medicine clinic.




As Senior Aviation Medicine Technician, HM2 Wilson significantly contributed to the military medicine department by providing top quality patient care and completing 1,144 physical exams and 332 EKGs. With meticulous attention to detail, HM2 Wilson managed and maintained the Motorcycle Safety Program, achieving a rating of Outstanding on safety inspection and maintained 100% compliance with DOD and MSF guidelines.
