Petty officer Kapp's unmatched dedication and attention to detail enabled her to succesfully carry out her duties both in the Command and as gate guard watch ensuring the security of all personnel employed onboard Naval Station Norfolk.
For superior performance of duty as an Anti-terrorism/Force Protection Specialist while assigned to U. S. Naval Air Station Ram from January 2014 through January 2016. As a Patrolman, Petty Officer Smith personally processed more than 17 incident reports without error, directly impacting the base mission. He consistently performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. Displaying high standards of professionalism and leadership, he responded to 48 calls for law enforcement and customer assistance service. He completed 110 Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) which ensured the safety of the Sigonella community and a population of over 5,400 military, NATO and civilian personnel across two installations, two housing areas, and two remote support sites.
