EO1 ANDERSEN IMPLEMENTED SQUAD AND COMPANY PHYSICAL TRAINING PROGRAMS AND INCREASED TESTING RATES BY 50 PERCENT. IN ADDITION, HE OVERSAW DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS AND ENSURED ALL PERSONNEL WERE ASSIGNED COLLATERAL DUTIES THAT INCREASED THE DET'S MOBILIZATION READINESS RATE TO 94 PERCENT. PETTY OFFICER DUNCAN'S INSPIRING LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL INITIATIVE POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTED TO MISSION READINESS AND THE SUCCESS OF THIS COMMAND, NAVAL AIR FORCE PACIFIC, AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. HIS OUTSTANDING MANAGERIAL ABILITY FACILITATED SIX SUCCESSFUL PORT VISITS AND THE PROCESSING OF MORE THAN 20,000 PARTS REQUISITIONS IN SUPPORT OF 88 WORKCENTERS AND NINE EMBARKED SQUADRONS DURING THEODORE ROOSEVELT'S COMBAT DEPLOYMENT. IN ADDITION, HE WAS THE LEADING ADVOCATE FOR ALL JUNIOR ENLISTED MEMBERS ABOARD AND PROVIDED HOURS OF RELEVANT GUIDANCE WHICH ENHANCED AND IMPROVED MANY CAREERS. MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS LIGHT INDUSTRIAL FACILITY (LIFAC) AND QUALITY ASSURANCE LEADING PETTY OFFICER, AIRCRAFT INTERMEDIATE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, ONBOARD USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) FROM JUNE 2016 TO APRIL 2018. DEMONSTRATING MATURITY, LEADERSHIP, AND PROFESSIONALISM, PETTY OFFICER ALLEN LED EIGHT SEASONED QARS DURING THE FIRST OF ITS KIND THREE CARRIER HULL SWAP, ENSURING 42 PROGRAMS REMAINED VIABLE AND ON TRACK. HE LED 77 SAILORS IN THE SAFE EXECUTION OF 5,222 MAINTENANCE ACTIONS REQUIRING MORE THAN 32,000 MAN-HOURS WHILE TRACKING OVER 700 PIECES OF CORRESPONDENCE AND THE LIFAC HAZMAT INVENTORY VALUED AT OVER $200K WITH ZERO DISCREPANCIES. BY HIS NOTEWORTHY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PERSEVERANCE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER ALLEN REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
