PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS GENERAL DUTY CORPSMAN, PEDIATRICS DEPARTMENT AT NAVAL HOSPITAL OKIWNAWA, FROM OCTOBER 2013 TO FEBRUARY 2016. HN TURNER PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN ASSISTING NINE PROVIDERS AND THREE NURSES IN OVER 20,900 PROCEDURES SUPPORTING THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF MORE THAN 5,400 PATIENTS. BY HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER TURNER REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




MERITORIOUS SERVICE IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HER DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS LEADING PETTY OFFICER, PEDIATRICS AND HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENTS, NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER, PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA FROM SEPTEMBER 2009 THROUGH MARCH 2012. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER HOOLIHAN PROVIDED DECKPLATE LEADERSHIP FOR 60 SAILORS RESULTING IN 40 ADVANCEMENTS IN RATE, 26 REENLISTMENTS, AND 14 C-SCHOOL ACCEPTANCES. ADDITIONALLY, SHE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE TRANSITION TO THE NAVY ELECTRONIC LEAVE PROGRAM FOR 6,000 STAFF MEMBERS. SHE ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES AND PROVIDED TRAINING TO ALL HANDS, RESULTING IN THE SEAMLESS TRANSITION FROM PAPER BASED LEAVE. PETTY OFFICER HOOLIHAN'S MANAGERIAL ABILITY, INITIATIVE AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




FOR PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS TEAM LEADER FOR JAMES A. LOVELL FEDERAL HEALTH CARE CENTER PEDIATRICS CLINIC FROM JULY 2015 THROUGH JANUARY 2016. HOSPITALMAN STEWART PREFORMED HIS DUTIES IN AN EXEMMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MATTER. AS THE TEAM LEADER, HE WAS ACCOUNTABLE FOR 13 PERSONNEL IN PROVIDING QUALITY HEALTH CARE FOR 5,500 PATIENTS. AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF G.L.A.S.S., HN STEWART VOLUNTEERED MORE THAN 70 HOURS AND AIDED IN THE CHARITABLE DONATIONS THAT ALLOWED THE ORGANIZATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RIDE FOR LIFE.
