WITH RELENTLESS ATTENTION TO DETAIL, PETTY OFFICER CORCORAN MANAGED A ROTATING FLEET OF OVER 300 GOVERNMENT OWNED VEHICLES AND OVERSAW A 350 VEHICLE LEASE CONTRACT VALUED AT MORE THAN $6M. CHIEF NIELSON SUPERBLY MANAGED A $5.5M OPTAR BUDGET WITH PINPOINT ACCURACY. HE ANALYZED REQUIREMENTS, SYNCHRONIZED SHARED USE, AND REDUCED THE FLEET OF LEASED VEHICLES BY 99 VEHICLES, RESULTING IN A SAVINGS OF $1M ANNUALLY. IN ADDITION, HE SUPERVISED 18 PERSONNEL IN THE COMPLETION OF 3,000 MAINTENANCE REQUESTS AND THE PROCUREMENT OF 350 MISSION CRITICAL PARTS.
