Under your leadership and dedication, JF5's membership was increased by 500%, we successfully organized 6 base clean-ups, 3 morale boosting events, designed a new JF5 logo, supervised 2 financial audits, coordinated 11 training sessions, and sponsored a fundraising event that raised $$$. FOR PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS PROJECT GOOD NEIGHBOR FLAGSHIP LEAD AT NAVY INFORMATION OPERATIONS COMMAND MARYLAND, FROM XXXXXXX TO XXXXXXXX. PETTY OFFICER SAILOR'S TEAM SPIRIT, OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE, AND PERSONAL INITIATIVE WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN THE EFFICIENCY AND OVERALL SUCCESS OF 12 COMMAND SPONSORED VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS AND RESPONSIBLE FOR INCREASING COMMAND COMMUNITY SERVICE INVOLVEMENT WITHIN HIS COMMAND BY 30 PERCENT. HER UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE THROUGHOUT THE FUND DRIVE ENSURED A 100 PERCENT CONTACT RATE AND AN UNPRECEDENTED TOTAL CONTRIBUTION WITHIN NAVY REGION MIDWEST OF OVER $796,000. PETTY OFFICER DICKSON HAS DEMONSTRATED UNPARALLELED LEADERSHIP AS AN NPC CERTIFIED MENTOR, DIRECTLY MENTORING OVER 100 SAILORS AND CIVILIANS THROUGH VARIOUS COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS. SHE VOLUNTEERED OVER 900 HOURS RECRUITING, ORGANIZING, AND SUSTAINING A MENTORING CULTURE THAT HAS IMPROVED DRUG EDUCATION FOR YOUTH PROGRAMS AND LOWERED SUBSTANCE ABUSE IN THE COMMUNITY BY 50 PERCENT. SHE COORDINATED MENTORING PARTNERSHIPS WITH 3 LOCAL SCHOOLS WHICH FACILITATED A POSITIVE AND CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP THAT HAS BENEFITTED BOTH THE NAVY AND THE COMMUNITY. FROM AUGUST 20XX TO AUGUST 20XX, PETTY OFFICER CALEB SELFLESSLY VOLUNTEERED OVER 80 HOURS OF HER PERSONAL TIME TO THE OAHU COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS INCLUDING THE USO, GIRL SCOUTS OF AMERICA, SPECIAL OLYMPICS, KANEOHE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION, AND OAHU HIGHWAY AND BEACH CLEAN UPS. SHE PERSONALLY LED 5 OF HER SAILORS IN THE COMPLETION OF AN 8 HOUR SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING TOURNAMENT FOR 45 ATHLETES. THE DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF PETTY OFFICER CALEB REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND BENEFITTED THE UNITED STATES NAVY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY.
PO SAILOR HAS BEEN AWARDED THE OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER MEDAL FOR HIS YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE WITH THE SOUTHERN GUARD LIVING HISTORY ASSOCIATION. AS A LIVING HISTORY VOLUNTEER, PO SAILOR SERVED IN THIS CAPACITY FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND, IN THE LAST NINE MONTHS, HAS BEEN CREDITED WITH DONATING MORE THAN 200 VOLUNTEER HOURS. THE PARK SERVICE HAS RECOGNIZED HIS CONTRIBUTION WHICH HAS BENEFITED THOUSANDS OF VISITORS EVERY YEAR, AND IN DOING SO, HONORABLY REPRESENTED THE NAVY, AND CREATED GOOD WILL IN THE COMMUNITY. PO SAILOR'S EXCEPTIONAL DEDICATION, INITIATIVE, AND DEVOTION TO SERVICE OF OTHERS REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
Over the past decade, Staff Sergeant Felton has constantly dedicated and volunteered his personal time as a mentor and role model for the younger generations of the communities in which he had lived. Staff Sergeant Felton's contributions have made a powerful and lasting impression on the various communities. He has been a quintessential ambassador for the Marine Corps and a role model for all. His unconditional and continuous community service and volunteerism reflects his unselfish devotion to others and is in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
Her personal commitment to the morale of sailors is unsurmountable and proven by her volunteering uncountable hours to the NOMI Morale Welfare and Recreaction committee and holding two officer positions. While she held the Treasurer position she was responsible for raising over $1,200 for the annual command party. During her year as Committee Co-Chair her committee raised $9,700 for the annual command party. She was also the secretary for two consecutive years in the NOMI Junior Enlisted Association.
PETTY OFFICER CUCCINELLO LED MORE THAN 30 SAILORS IN OVER 100 BASE BEAUTIFICATION AND MAINTENANCE PROJECTS, SAVING THE NAVY 70 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CONTRACTOR COSTS. SHE HAS DEVOTED COUNTLESS HOURS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENTS TO INCLUDE VOLUNTEERING AT THE POINT LOMA CONVALESCENT HOME, VETERAN'S VILLAGE OF SAN DIEGO WINTER SHELTER, AND CNRSW HARBOR SECURITY COMMAND PICNIC. SHE ALSO ASSISTED IN THE CREATION OF NAVAL BASE POINT LOMA'S NAVY ADVANCEMENT STUDY SESSIONS TO PROMOTE ADVANCEMENT TO THE NEXT PAYGRADE. PETTY OFFICER CUCCINELLO'S UNSELFISH EFFORTS, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
