As the ISSO, he processed over 220 cross domain transfers in support of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces. His efforts greatly increased the international relationship and operational readiness of the U.S. Navy.




XXXXXXXXXXXXX PROVIDED OUTSTANDING CYBER SECURITY EXPERTISE AND LEADERSHIP AS ECHELON II ISSM FOR A CYBER SECURITY WORK FORCE OF OVER 300 PERSONNEL. ADDITIONALLY, HIS ACTIONS DURING THE MILLINGTON DATA CENTER TECHNOLOGY REFRESH PROJECT WILL ENSURE THE SECURITY OF DATA SERVICES FOR YEARS TO COME. IN ADDITION, HE WORKED CLOSELY WITH ECHELON III COMMANDS, TRACKING AND CLOSING ALL CATEGORY I, II, AND III FINDINGS IN ORDER TO SECURE AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE ACCREDITATIONS FOR 19 PROGRAMS OF RECORD.




XXXXXXXXXXX distinguished himself through his unwavering foresight and superior technical expertise. Using his working knowledge of Department of Navy network operations doctrine, he developed formal processes and procedures for the Cyber Security Inspection Certification Program, aiding in the successful training and assessment of over 100 afloat and ashore commands. He also authored the first Navy Informational Assurance tactical supplement, providing Navy-Wide standardization of Computer Network Security practices where none previously existed. In coordination with Naval Education Training Command, he paved the way for a complete overhaul of the Information Systems Security Managers course to meet the needs of a modern cyber security cadre.




As Communications Center Leading Chief Petty Officer and Information System Security Manager from XXXXXXX 20XX to XXXXXXX 20XX. Led a division of 23 Sailors in completing two successful CNO Availability Yard Periods, GroupSail, Comptuex, and a FIFTH FLEET Deployment. As ISSM, led his division in earning the Green "E" for C4I and led the team in receiving one of the highest passing scores on the entire East Coast during the ship's first Cyber Security Inspection. Maintained 100% retention in his division and produced a 90% advancement rate.
