PO2 Kettleman enforces strict adherence to Navy regulations to preserve order and discipline in a challenging environment.

Defended Command policies and persuaded department on wisdom, fairness, and needs for new regulations.

NCC Michaels is a role model in paving the way for top notch mentorship. He displayed an unrelenting approach towards sailorization. He ensured all those mentored were PQS qualified at or ahead of schedule, enrolled in college, and three converted to Career Recruiting Force.

Committed to mission accomplishment, he was always available to the medical staff and the community during two years at USNH Sigonella.

CHIEF MICHAELS PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DEDICATED TO SUCCESS, HE EARNED THE COMPLETE TRUST OF HIS SUPERIORS, PEERS AND SUBORDINATES WITH HIS EXPERTISE AND DECK PLATE LEADERSHIP. He coordinated with and led fellow Chiefs, ensuring more than 40 CPO selectees received essential training in accordance with MCPON guidance for 4 consecutive years.

His direct leadership was essential to executing solid training plans and instilled the Navy's highest standards of customs, traditions, and heritage. As a command mentor, he led, trained and mentored 6 military personnel under the command mentor program, resulting in one advancement to Chief Petty Officer and three advanced to 1st Class Petty Officer.

EM1 Marsh has become part of the ship and has the highest level of commitment to the ship's mission and his subordinates.

SAILORIZATION - Actively involved in the ESWS program, facilitated 4 formal lectures on Combat Systems and Operations while providing one on one training for 25 Core Crew, Mission Package, and Air Detachment personnel, greatly enforcing the Navy's Surface Warfare Program.

- DEDICATED TO SAILORIZATION. Dedicated and involved in the professional and personal development of his sailors as evidenced by their selections for Junior Instructor of the Quarter, Junior Instructor of the Year, Junior Sailor of the Quarter, and Senior Sailor of the Year while under his direct charge. Chaired Career Development Boards, Instructor of the Quarter boards, Sailor of the Quarter boards, and MTS boards. Using his mentoring skills, he secured seven rate advancements in his phase.

As LCPO, he had a direct and positive impact on the mission success of the USS Constitution greatly encouraging Sailors while increasing their knowledge and awareness of 12 command heritage events.

PO Caruso never compromised his integrity; he lived the Navy values daily in his daily performance.

As LPO of a 20 person duty section he spent over 200 hours organizing and planning strategies for watch bills and work schedules. Putting others before himself he sacrificed countless hours of personal time getting others prepared to earn their SCWS pin.

DURING THIS TIME, CHIEF PETTY OFFICER FEARLESS SUPERVISED OVER 200 DECK EVOLUTIONS AND LED DECK DIVISION TO OVER 90% RETENTION RATES FOR ALL SAILORS IN HIS CARE.

- Involved in the Career Development Team program for 7th Marine Regiment, he completed five midterm counselings for junior Sailors and coached 12 Sailors in studying for the Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist written examinations, resulting in five Sailors qualifying as FMF warfare specialists.

- Radiates energy and enthusiasm while supporting activities at the NAS Jacksonville community chapel.

DESPITE A RIGOROUS TRAINING SCHEDULE, HE SACRIFICED 20 HOURS OF TOTAL STAND DOWN TIME RESULTING IN THE FLAWLESS MANAGEMENT OF THE PILM LANE TRAINING STATIONS WAS PIVOTAL IN ELEVATING THE AWARENESS TRAINING FOR OVER 300 US AND FOREIGN SERVICE MEMBERS.

IT1 Curlew is dedicated to his responsibilities as section lead. He turned down a promotion and transfer to Headquarters to remain with his team.

Committed to excellence and subordinate training. His genuine concern for subordinate development fostered a productive working and training environment which positively impacted the work center's production and application of NAMP processes.

BM2 Cox has unquestionable loyalty to her unit, their mission, and the Navy.

- Senior Chief Smith is a staunch advocate of tradition, loyalty, and strong Naval service. His unwavering support of the chain of command, firm enforcement of military standards, and equitable treatment of subordinates has optimized morale and promoted teamwork and mission accomplishment.

ET1 Nolan possesses pride in service and a sense of duty that inspires her peers. She has an unshakeable faith in her chain of command and Navy values.

AS A MEMBER OF THE COMMAND CAREER DEVELOPMENT TEAM AND ASSESMENT TEAM, HE AIDED IN THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT OF 32 SAILORS LEADING TO AN INCREASE IN THE COMMAND'S RETENTION.

Committed to supporting Command mission and Sailorization, his program of 12 alcohol prevention and education events facilitated an unprecedented 102 days of zero alcohol-related incidents for NTTC.

Chief Vasquez insists on loyalty to supervisors and peers while maintaining an effective team of specialists.

-INVOLVED THROUGHOUT. Hand-selected by the Region Command climate specialist to assist five tenant commands with EO complaints. He provided expert analysis of survey data to facilitate a culture of personal and professional growth opportunities.

GM1 Jackson has an unwavering devotion to his job and takes his responsibilities to his team members and their safety very seriously.

-Personally mentored three junior officers new to reserve service to facilitate seamless integration into the unit. As a result of these efforts, these officers were able to quickly assume the key unit positions of Ombudsman and Administration Officer.

Implemented professional development training and revitalized the command PT program, which led to 5 advancements, 2 FMF Qualifications, 24 CDB's, 1 re-enlistment, and 1 "C" School approval. He also mentored and supported 4 HM1's and 3 JO's in the management of the Battalion Aid Station and personnel within 2d Battalion, 7th Marines.

PETTY OFFICER EXLEY ALWAYS PRESENTS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD SAILORIZATION OF 36 SAILORS WITHIN SURGEMAIN NASHVILLE AND OVER 200 NAVY SAILORS WITHIN NOSC NASHVILLE BY ORGANIZING TROOPS TO TEACHERS AND POST 9/11 GI BILL PRESENTATIONS. HIS DEVOTION TO THE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF OTHERS WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN NOSC NASHVILLE'S RETENTION EXCELLENCE AWARD.

Chief Gasowitz preserved Navy tradition by encouraging and enforcing participation in all Command ceremonies and events.

As the LPO, he is loyal to the Command and the ideals of the NCO Corps.

- Devoted mentor. Provided career guidance to 35 Sailors which was ultimately responsible for raising the retention rate to 75 percent.

She developed a Joint Mentorship Program that fostered a climate of camraderie throughout the command providing guidance to over 60 tri-service personnel resulting in 80% retention.

- Encouraged peers and subordinates to attend on-line classes.

PETTY OFFICER ALVARADO SUPERVISED, TRAINED, AND MENTORED 12 PERSONNEL ACROSS 4 WORKCENTERS IN THE DAILY OPERATION OF BOXER'S FIRE CONTROL RADARS AND SELF DEFENSE WEAPON SYSTEMS.

His steadfast devotion to the development and mentorship of Sailors, and extreme dedication to excellence in command programs allowed the command to experience supreme success in the face of every challenge presented. His leadership directly resulted in increased Sailorization, khaki cohesion, command morale, and community involvement from all military members within the command.

EM1 Marsh sacrificed over 60 hours of off-duty time in support of his LPO and task manager responsibilities placing unit Sailors' needs ahead of his personal life.

SUPERB MANAGER. Diligently managed ship's mentorship program for 175 sailors demonstrating commitment to professional growth of enlisted personnel in pay-grades E6 and below. She established the mentor of the month program rewarding outstanding mentors onboard.

PO Williams works efficiently and effectively with superiors and is selflessly committed to the unit's mission.

PO1 Reynolds reenlisted to stay with her unit until mission was finished. She demonstrated the highest standard of loyalty to superiors and the organization.

PO2 Ellis delayed his college enrollment in order to cover a manning deficiency. The best example of dedication in our berth.

As the Operations Department Leading Petty Officer and Command Career Counslor, he maintained the unit's retention rate of 100% over a four year period.
