Maritime Enforcement Specialist Evals


Managed the unit LE gear. Fully outfitted 46 members of PSU 307. Worked over 120 hours maintaining the gear.




Acted as subject matter expert during CUTLASS EXPRESS, a joint training operation between US Navy and Coast Guard, Djiboutian Coast Guard and Navy, and Mozambique and Ugandan Navies. Worked with boarding teams from multiple US and Allied navy vessels to enhance their Visit Board Search and Seizure capabilities. This led to the HMAS Arunta seizing more than 1500 pounds of hashish. His knowledge and professionalism were instrumental to the success of the operation, which led to stronger partnerships and a more unified presence in the Horn of Africa region.




Volunteered his personal time to ensure all personnel got their gear in a timely manner. Created an effective partnership with the Store Keeper shop minimizing distractions and maximizing productivity. Conducted a boarding of an illegal charter, resulting in termination. Qualified multiple members contributing to unit's law enforcement capabilities.

Helped members practice techniques, review theory and participated in the qualification board process. During his tour at the Al Basrah oil platform, he again volunteered his personal time to pass his knowledge of physical training on to his shipmates.

Ensured that all security division members of CTG 56.5 received mission critical gear for an overseas deployment, spearheaded boarding team member qualification training and was instrumental in divisional physical fitness readiness.




Assigned to the Financial Audit Remediation Division, Office of Financial Policy, Reporting and Property, within the Assistant Commandant for Resources Directorate, Coast Guard Headquarters. Team was able to verify all the APOs and count team in advance of the required due date, this made sure that all required members were accounted for and ready to go to ensure the inventory happened on time. This was especially challenging due to COVID-19 issues and people working a limited duty schedule.

Working as a team, the USCG members, working closely with the Team from EY, were able to get daily Sit Reps and information out to stakeholders on time and quickly. Also, issues or technical problems were quickly filtered and routed to the correct person for fixing to ensure an efficient inventory.

Petty Officer Justice was able to work with field units and contractors as well as stake holders: Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), U.S. Coast Guard Finance Center (USCG FINCEN), Housing Management Information System (HMIS), and Federal Aids to Navigation (ATON) to ensure the inventory was finished in the provided time frame. The team was able to utilize resources to ensure continued contact with units, as well as flex their time to ensure maximum availability in order to meet mission requirements. The end result was that the inventory was completed on time and correctly.




Assisted in the onboarding and qualification of all USCG members reporting aboard MSRON-11. As N7 CPO, he supported the successful execution of three waves. ISO wave 20 he spearheaded wave preparation for all departments ensuring all wave members met basic qualifications requirements before deployment.
