Departmental/Command 3MA Evals
As Departmental 3MA, managed a team of 21 junior and senior personnel across two work centers in the completion of 1740 spot checks and monitored maintenances, 980 man-hours of maintenance and the installation of 4 command-wide Force Revisions. As VITT lead, he led the department through 47 drills including COMPTUEX and deployment, provided 72 trainings including qualifying 22 qualifications, 6 of which were outside of the department, rewrote the departmental drill package, and led through the ATG inspection with a score of 92%. As a member of the 3MTT, attended 34 weekly training sessions, and personally conducted 87 3M assessments of outside departments to ensure the quality and effectiveness of each program is being met or exceeded to maintain the safety and mission readiness of the ship and its crew.
Hand-selected as 3MA, led 51 Workcenter Supervisors and 36 DIVOs/LCPOs in the execution of 81,088 maintenance procedures and 2,069 spotchecks. Guidance resulted in outstanding scores across all 3M pillars: 94% MAR, 94% SCAR, 90% CSMP, 94% KSE, and 95% CLER. Identified shortfalls in situational maintenance that reduced lost checks by 62%, and managed the removal of 91 redline items from IEM, earning an "Effective" grade in the successful execution of TYCOM Sea Trials. Organized two SURFPAC 3M training events for 52 personnel and enrolled 27 personnel in 3MU that reinforced 3M standards. Facilitated 90 hours of 3M training that resulted in the qualification of 15 MPs, 10 DIVOs, 8 WCS, and 4 DHs. Instructed 15 BLS/CPR classes that certified 105 personnel and contributed to a C-1 score during the Medical Readiness Assessment and PORTLAND's 7th consecutive Green "H" award.
As Department 3MA, he conducted 16 comprehensive audits, optimized over 500 work orders, Led Supply team in executing over 3500 man-hours of maintenance tasks, reflected in the ships RE-2 Inspection scoring an 87%. Attained an impressive 95% on the Supply Management Certification, Utilizing newfound knowledge to negotiate favorable contracts, resulting in a 25% cost savings, expedited material acquisition by 50%, and ensured uninterrupted supply support for critical operations Resulting in a 100% equipment readiness for S-2.
As the command 3MA, he led Sailors across 35 work centers on proper management of 77,587 maintenance line items totaling over $41M in assets, resulting in the completion of 48k preventative maintenance checks and 2,550 maintenance spot checks resulting in the command achieving a Maintenance Accomplishment Rating of 86%.
In her role as Command 3MA and a qualified 3MC, she conducted over 300 hours of 3M and OMMS training, qualifying four Departmental 3MAs, eight Division Officers, six Work Center Supervisors, and four maintenance technicians. Coordinated CACO training for four commands, which resulted in qualifications for four officers and twelve enlisted personnel.
As N3 Department Leading Petty Officer (LPO), she expertly managed critical operational tools and processes, including RCRP, DRRS-S, WEBSKED, and ISOPREP, ensuring the timeliness of monthly operational reports. She successfully sourced over 189 VIPPSA assignments, ensuring smooth operations and optimal resource allocation. Her management capabilities were further demonstrated in overseeing missions that supported the movement of high-value assets across the U.S. and allied countries to include the Presidential Election and Presidential Inauguration.
Maintained and managed 153 Sailor ISOPREPs, ensuring the command's compliance for world wide operations and keeping the unit 100% deployable. She delivered over 320 hours of training for Tactical Operations Center roles, including Maven, Battle Watch Supervisor, and Battle Watch Captain, benefiting both senior and junior Sailors.
As 3MA, lead 1388 Sailors, managed 65 work centers across 14 departments. Completed 134273 maintenance actions, 4498 spot checks, 67 FBR, 5 FRS, sustaining an 87% MAR. As SAPR AVA/VA served 4872 hours of watch duty, gave command GMT training to 2,244 people sailors onboard. Delivered indoctrination training to 100% of command newly reported sailors increasing command awareness, and an environment where Sailors feel safe to report. As DCTT member, Qualified 495 Sailors across multiple Deck Watches, Damage Control, and Ship's Maintenance and Material Management (3M) Personnel Qualification Standards by providing training during 125 DC drills, improving command watch stander readiness by 25 percent. As Quality Assurance Representative responsible for assessing 38 programs and 31 work centers ensuring compliance with NAMP policies and procedures.
He played an influential role in the support of Fifth Fleet operational tasking to include 90 FDNF missions, 200 pier landings, 120 rib operations, two astern refueling, and 4 towing exercises. His leadership and mentorship directly resulted in the qualification of 12 deck POICs, 6 deck safety officers, 25-line handlers, 12 CCRS operators, 10 look-outs, three boat deck POICs, four conning officers, and twelve enlisted surface warfare specialists, leading to the successful performance of all deck evolutions with zero mishaps. As the Command 3MA, he trained 29 sailors in completing 43,000 PMS checks, 350 spot checks, and 500 corrective repair actions with zero errors, leading to Squall's 3M Certification score of 92%.
As Departmental 3MA, Supply Department, on USS Chafee (DDG 90) while forward deployed to the Western Pacific ocean. Responsible for all of Supply's 3M program, successfully qualified four Maintenance Personnel, three Repair Parts Petty Officers, four Work Center Supervisors, and four Damage Control Petty Officers directly reflected by the completion of 1,445 PMS checks and 64 successful 100% spot check assessments resulting in a Maintenance Accomplishment Rating of 94.29%. Also serving as Repair Parts, she flawlessly managed and identified monthly requirements in advance for the Food Service Division consumable items worth $53,000, directly impacting successful Galley operations.
As Command 3MA he oversaw the successful completion of over 100 PMS checks and trained 6 personnel for EIDWS as SME. As BCHF work center supervisor he was instrumental in the timely corrective maintenance of 5 security cameras, allowing NCTAMS LANT DET Rota to maintain the highest level of security.
