Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) Operator


-EXEMPLARY CSUAS PROFESSIONAL. Stood 1,292 hours of CsUAS watch and responded to 126 drone detection activations. His commitment ensured the protection of 20,000 acres of government property and $15 billion worth of aircraft and support equipment, enhancing base Force Protection Posture.




OSC was hand selected as a subject matter expert to be the SSI Airspace Program Manager to establish a cutting-edge Counter Small Unmanned Aerial System (CsUAS) for 3 installations, including two Level-1 Theater Critical Asset. Collaborated with the FAA, NCIS, Philadelphia PD bomb squad, and Navy EOD to develop a reaction plan and Pre-Planned Response (PPR) for drone related incidents and program implementation. Coordinated with N34 Cs-UAS Program Management, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (N3/AT), NAVFAC, and NSA N6 for system install and training. OSC responded to 3 UAS drone incidents at NSA Philadelphia and Philadelphia Navy Yard Annex, ensuring response and reporting protocols were met. Completed FEMA Incident Command Certifications 100, 200, 700, and 800 and enrolled in USMAP program. Delivered senior enlisted mentorship after the MAC billet was gapped. Assisted in the development and revision of over 40 SOP/PPR and Post orders for the security Department and corrected administrative errors and gaps for over 35 letters of Designation ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.




Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) Assistant Program Manager, Base Access Technician, and Security Desk Sergeant in COMFLEACT Okinawa. OS1 created procedures, guidelines, and policies to effectively monitor drone operations. She processed 8,172 passes and vetted 19,113 civilian personnel, preventing unauthorized access and protecting government property and personnel across six geographically separated installations in Okinawa, Japan. She monitored surveillance systems, detecting security breaches and implemented appropriate response protocols.
