Master Training Specialist (MTS) Coordinator Evals


As Underway Replenishment (UNREP) Leading Chief Petty Officer at Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment East, he delivered 3,500 hours of mishap-free Underway Replenishment training for two high risk courses, greatly improving mission readiness across the fleet. As UNREP site lead, he meticuously managed and tracked all course material which led to two successful formal course reviews and three Training Activity Assessment program reviews. He trained a diverse group of more than 900 students from the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command civilian mariners. He also assisted in the qualification of two instructors as departmental MTS coordinators, and trained six instructors to qualify in three courses of instruction.




As MTS Coordinator, she provided 500 hours of training and participated in five oral boards resulting in 13 new MTS qualifications and a 20% increase in program enrollment.




Led 50 AT/VBSS training and certification events, impacting 21 FDNF ships and 2000 Sailors.




As the Assistant MTS Coordinator, he was awarded Master Training Specialist, leading to him mentoring 7 instructors and 2 newly qualified MTS.




As Command Assistant MTS Coordinator, she led 12 instructors in 250 hours of classroom training directly resulting in the qualification of 24 Sailors. Coordinated 22 CWAY applications, assisted in the verification and correction of 345 worksheets for advancement exams.




HIS EFFORTS AS THE COMMAND MTS COORDINATOR RESULTED IN THE QUALIFICATION OF FIVE MTS MENTORS AND SIX MTS PROTEGES.




AS AN INSTRUCTOR, IT1 LEWIS PROVIDED HIGH QUALITY INSTRUCTION TO OFFICERS AND SENIOR ENLISTED PERSONNEL IN THE MAYPORT AND KINGS BAY FLEET CONCENTRATED AREA. HIS LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP HAS LED TO INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATION OF FOUR PERSONNEL. HIS ROLE AS MTS COORDINATOR PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN ADDING TWO ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL TO THE RANKS OF MASTER TRAINING SPECIALIST.




AS THE MASTER TRAINING SPECIALIST COORDINATOR, HE PROVIDED 67 HOURS OF TRAINING AND QUALIFIED 40 STAFF MEMBERS.




Displaying exceptional professionalism, Chief Petty Officer XXXXX led nine Sailors in providing over 3,500 hours of instruction to 250 Active and Reserve Marines and Sailors. Additionally, she was designated as the assistant Master Training Specialist coordinator, resulting in the qualification of 27 new Master Training Specialists.
