Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) Evals
As a WTI, provided tactical and technical training to over 200 students through 3 SWATTs, 1 IADC, 8 WTI Course of instructions, and 8 Army Patriot Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer Course. As the Subject Matter Expert for AEGIS, Doctrine, Threats and Ballistic Missile Defense, he overhauled the Final Qualification Board and testing procedure for the IAMD WTI COI, resulting in more robust testing to thoroughly assess a student's knowledge and weaknesses. His in-depth knowledge of AEGIS Doctrine and BMD improved the tactical lethality of twelve ships through direct support and tactical feedback.
Developed and implemented three TTPs adapted by Warfare Tactics Instructors to enhance C2 and communication resilience in degraded environments. Developed and established procedures for restoring Battle Force Tactical Network at sea, adopted by PMW/A-170, to ensure operational continuity for deployed units. Following 1,200 hours of denied communications training for 148 personnel, developed increased threat capability scenarios for future inter-service exercises, increasing fleet communication capacity and strengthening operational resilience Navy-wide.
3 x SWATT, 1 x IADC, taught over 80 students across 8 courses of instruction, at one point qualified in 45% of the course material with focus on the Aegis Weapon System, Doctrine, Threats, and BMD. Overhauled significant portions of the COI including 3 Aegis Employment guided discussions (DRBS) and 3 Threat research and presentations. Overhauled the Final Qualification board, adding rigor to the process to help identify and correct students' weaknesses prior to patching. Was testing officer, completely revising the entire IAMD WTI testing procedure with the introduction of a master test bank and increased the depth of knowledge tested in the COI dramatically.
As Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Advanced Warfare Tactics Instructor and class advisor, coordinated and led 9 officer students through the check-in process, and classroom and lab training. As AEGIS Baseline 5, 6/7, and 9 instructor, provided over 150 hours of classroom and lab instruction. As duty section leader, trained, qualified and mentored 57 sailors while ensuring ATRC security measures were in place. As active command resilience team member, played the role of middle man in voicing the concerns of subordinates to the chain of command in effort to create a constructive work environment.
PCO, PXO, AND Integrated Air and Missile Defense WARFARE TACTICS INSTRUCTOR and COURSE SUPERVISOR. Led and managed 5 courses through 2 sets of CSCS formal course reviews with minimal errors. AS PCO/PXO COURSE SUPERVISOR, he was responsible for the successful graduation of 41 PCO/PXO students and 4 short fused special convenings, ensuring fleet leaders were well prepared with the most tactically relevant Air and Missile Defense information. AS THE IAMD WTI Course Supervisor, he ran the most advanced and intellectually demanding course at ATRC and was personally responsible for the development 27 Warfare Tactic Instructors.
