DURING THIS PERIOD, MASTER CHIEF RAWLINS DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF THROUGH OUTSTANDING MENTORSHIP AND ADVISORY ROLES FOR JUNIOR OFFICERS AND ENLISTED CREW DURING THE UNIT'S TRANSITION FROM SURGEMAIN TO MARMC. HIS SUPPORT TO THE UNIT INCLUDED SERVING IN TWO CHIEF PETTY OFFICER SEASONS, FACILITATING FOUR ELD COURSES AND NUMEROUS RECORDS REVIEWS AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT BOARDS. ADDITIONALLY, HE VOLUNTEERED TO LEAD THE ADVANCED NAVAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSE FOR 12 ACTIVE AND RESERVE SAILORS. MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER AT MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER FROM 10 JUNE 2014 THROUGH 13 AUGUST 2017. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER SWANSON PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. AS OPERATIONS OFFICER FOR MARMC, HE SUPERVISED 23 CHIEF PETTY OFFICERS, 42 FIRST CLASS PETTY OFFICERS, AND NUMEROUS JUNIOR PERSONNEL IN PROVIDING AROUND THE CLOCK SUPPORT TO THE FLEET. FC1 SWANSON RESPONDED TO 109 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE VISITS, WITH 23 OF THEM BEING CATEGORY-3, ENSURING OPTIMAL FLEET READINESS. IN ADDITION, HE ENSURED ALL REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE WERE RESPONDED TO AND DELEGATED APPROPRIATELY AS HE SUCCESSFULLY QUALIFIED MARMC THROUGH THREE MAJOR CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDING USS RAMAGE IN PASCAGOULA, MISSISSIPPI FOR THEIR FIRST MID LIFE AVAIL. PETTY OFFICER SWANSON'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HER DUTIES AS VALVE SHOP REPAIR TECHNICIAN, MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER FROM FEBRUARY 2015 TO MARCH 2017. PETTY OFFICER BRYANT RELIABLY PERFORMED HER DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. DEMONSTRATING UNPARALLELED DETERMINATION, SHE DEMONSTRATED TECHNICAL ACUMEN WHILE TESTING 1236 RELIEF VALVES AND WAS A KEY PLAYER IN THE REBUILD OF 10 AMOT VALVES, ONE POTABLE WATER MANIFOLD, 14 GATE VALVES, AND EIGHT GLOBE VALVES. AS PART OF THE VALVE MAINTENANCE ASSIST TEAM, SHE COMPLETED 15 VISITS IN THE ATLANTIC AND MEDITERRANEAN REGIONS AND PROVIDED 45 HOURS OF TRAINING TO 58 SHIPS FORCE PERSONNEL IN MAIN AND SECONDARY DRAINAGE. ADDITIONALLY, SHE MANAGED THE VALVE SHOP GAGE CALIBRATION PROGRAM, MAINTAINING THE CALIBRATION OF 97 GAGES AND RESULTING IN ZERO DISCREPANCIES FOR THE COMMAND WIDE FLEET MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY ASSESSMENT. PETTY OFFICER BRYANT'S PROFESSIONALISM AND SELFLESS DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

PETTY OFFICER CHALMERS CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HIS DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. AS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT LEADING PETTY OFFICER, HE MANAGED NINE WORKCENTERS THAT SERVICED THE ENTIRE COMMAND AND PROVIDED TIME CRITICAL MAINTENANCE FOR OVER 20 SHIPS. IN ADDITION, AS COMMAND FITNESS LEADER, HE TRACKED AND PROCESSED OVER 5000 PHYSICAL INFORMATION DATA ENTRIES FOR THREE SPRING AND FOUR FALL PFA CYCLES AND MANAGED OVER 300 FITNESS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, RESULTING IN A FIFTY PERCENT REDUCTION IN PFA FAILURES OVER THREE YEARS. BY HIS EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, PETTY OFFICER CHALMERS REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
