LIEUTENANT COMMANDER CHANNING MANAGED A REGIONAL INFORMATION OPERATIONS TEAM COMPRISED OF OVER 30 RESERVISTS FROM SIX COMMANDS. IN THIS IMPORTANT POSITION, HE PROVIDED SUPERB LEADERSHIP AND OVERSIGHT TO 31 PERSONNEL WHILE MANAGING A 300 THOUSAND DOLLAR OPERATIONS BUDGET AND PROVIDING OVER 700 DAYS OF SUPPORT TO OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM AND NAVY INFORMATION OPERATIONS COMMAND HAWAII, NORFOLK AND DENVER. LIEUTENANT COMMANDER CHANNING'S DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE AND STEADFAST DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

COMMANDER OSWALDO PROVIDED SUPERB LEADERSHIP AND OVERSIGHT TO 77 PERSONNEL AND FACILITATED THE COMMAND'S 30 PERCENT IMPROVEMENT IN PROMOTION RATE. IN ADDITION, HE PROVIDED 32 DAYS OF WATCH STANDING AT FACSFAC VACAPES RANGE OPERATIONS CENTER IN SUPPORT OF CARRIER STRIKE GROUP FOUR EXERCISES AND 29 DAYS AFLOAT WHERE HE CERTIFIED TWO MQ-8 FIRE SCOUT DETACHMENTS FOR DEPLOYMENT. FINALLY, HE COORDINATED OVER 900 DAYS OF RESERVE SUPPORT FOR SEVEN EXERCISES, RESULTING IN THE DEPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION OF 24 SHIPS INCLUDING 1 CARRIER STRIKE GROUP AND 1 AMPHIBIOUS READY GROUP. COMMANDER OSWALDO'S DISTINCTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE AND STEADFAST DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

LIEUTENANT COMMANDER TESCO'S EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO DUTY RESULTED IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF NAVY CARGO HANDLING BATTALION EIGHT INTO AN OPERATIONALLY FOCUSED TEAM, ULTIMATELY RESULTING IN ITS SELECTION TO REMAIN IN READY FOR MOBILIZATION STATUS FOR AN ADDITIONAL SIX MONTHS. UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP, NAVY CARGO HANDLING BATTALION EIGHT PROVIDED OVER 5,000 MAN HOURS OF OPERATIONAL LOGISTICS SUPPORT FOR THE AREAS OF EXPEDITIONARY FUELING, SURFACE CARGO, AND AIR CARGO IN SUPPORT OF FUNCTIONAL AND COMBATANT COMMANDERS AROUND THE GLOBE. HIS SUPERB MANAGERIAL ABILITY RAISED NAVY CARGO HANDLING BATTALION EIGHT'S AMMO, MEDICAL, 3-M, AND MANNING READINESS ABOVE 90 PERCENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX YEARS. LIEUTENANT COMMANDER TESCO'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL ABILITY, STEADFAST INITIATIVE, AND SELFLESS DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIM AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

DEMONSTRATING EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND INITIATIVE, LTJG CONNORS ENHANCED THE ORGANIZATIONAL STANDARDS AND OPERATIONAL READINESS FOR THE NAVY RESERVES' LARGEST SECURITY FORCES UNIT. HIS SUPERIOR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL LEADERSHIP SKILLS WERE PARAMOUNT IN MAINTAINING A UNIT OF 130 PERSONNEL INCLUDING OVER 20 CROSS ASSIGNED IN PERSONNEL. POSSESSING UNPARALLELED ORGANIZANTIONAL SKILLS, LTJG CONNORS PREPARED FOR AND ACHIEVED OUTSTANDING MARKS ON THE UNIT'S READINESS IG INSPECTION AND WAS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING AN UNPRECEDENTED 1300 MAN DAYS IN SUPPORT FOR NAVY REGION SOUTHWEST SPECIAL EVENTS. ADDITIONALLY, HE ASSISTED THE ACTIVE DUTY AND REGION SECURITY FORCES AND ENSURED FORCE PROTECTION CONDITIONS WERE IN PLACE FOR THREE NAVAL INSTALLATIONS SPANNING NINE SQUARE MILES. WHILE SERVING AS ACTING EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND UNIT OPERATIONS OFFICER FOR THE NAVY RESERVE NAVINFO 7TH FLEET PUBLIC AFFAIRS UNIT FOR THE PERIOD FEBRUARY 15 2015 TO JANUARY 10 2018. LCDR WALLACE EXCELLED AS A UNIT LEADER, PROVIDING MORE THAN 300 MAN-DAYS OF ADT AND AT FOR SCHOOL AND DIRECT SUPPORT TO COMMANDER, 7TH FLEET PUBLIC AFFAIRS. SHE DEMONSTRATED SUPERIOR INITIATIVE, DETERMINATION AND LEADERSHIP IN A FAST-PACED, DYNAMIC, OPERATING ENVIRONMENT. BY HER EXCEPTIONAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO DUTY, LCDR WALLACE REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HERSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
