Primary Responsibilities:

Field Medical Technician (OCT2024-JUL2025): Provides direct and general health service support to III Marine Expeditionary Force to sustain the combat effort across the full spectrum of Marine Air Ground Task operations. Provide exceptional medical care in service to DOD civilians, dependents, retirees, and active-duty personnel in support of Naval Hospital Okinawa and Evans Medical Clinic.

Alpha Admin Clerk- (30OCT2025)- Entrusted with the comprehensive routing and management of 62 correspondences and end-of-tour awards, ensuring seamless processing across multiple departments. Coordinates and organizes weekly reservations at USO Center 2 for Alpha Surgical Company's Commander's Update Brief (CUB), while maintaining a highly efficient schedule and logistical framework. Manages the submission and real-time updates of daily binnacle lists to the Battalion Surgeon, monitoring light/limited duty and SIQ statuses for the entire company. Plays a key role in personnel tracking, overseeing the integration of 16 new members from I-Division into Alpha Company, meticulously updating the Alpha Company Master Tracker to ensure all data is accurate and current. Subsequently responsible for compiling and submitting By-Direction Correspondences to the Battalion at the end of each month, ensuring all documents adhere to organizational standards and deadlines. Regularly coordinates with various departments to ensure smooth communication flow, ensuring the timely and accurate exchange of critical information across the Battalion.

K. Job Performance:

SAF: (01FEB2025-01MAR2025)- TAD to security augmentation force in coordination with the Marine Corps. Certification was successfully obtained in Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray as well as Security Augmentation Force (SAF) qualifications. While assigned to SAF, participation variety of specialized security force training exercises took place, including riot control protocols advanced OC spray technique, and Taser deployment procedures. In addition to training responsibilities, vigilant security duties were executed by conducting thorough 100% identification verification at main entry gates to maintain the safety and integrity of the installation. Furthermore, random anti-terrorism inspections on vehicles entering the base were implemented, with strict enforcement of a zero-tolerance policy against operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, significantly contributing to the overall security posture of the base.

Evans Medical Clinic: (05SEP2025-25SEP2025) Exceptional flexibility was demonstrated by providing comprehensive sick call coverage for over 200 patients across multiple sections. Despite being assigned to a specific unit, the responsibility was extended to support and work alongside 10 different providers to ensure continuous, high quality patient care. This effort was undertaken while the majority of personnel participated in demanding field exercises, including Resolute Dragon and Gatorex. By remaining behind, uninterrupted medical services medical services were maintained, effectively managing a wide range of medical cases and sustaining the clinics operational readiness. This experience underscored adaptability, patient welfare, and a strong commitment to mission continuity during critical training periods.

Battalion:

MS&D: As a CBRN collateral duty, responsibilities include monitoring surveillance, executing decontamination procedures, and administering medical aid in the event of chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear threats. Duties encompass managing and enforcing MOP (Mission-Oriented Protective Posture) levels, issuing and maintaining protective equipment, and adjusting posture based on evolving threat conditions. Additional responsibilities include operating specialized detection equipment to identify CBRN hazards, conducting decontamination of personnel and equipment, and ensuring overall unit safety and readiness. Medical support includes providing immediate first aid, triage, and administering CBRN-specific antidotes to stabilize affected personnel until higher-level medical care is available. Regular training and exercises are conducted to maintain proficiency in protective measures, decontamination operations, and medical response, ensuring unit effectiveness and mission continuity in high-threat environments.

MAIL ORDERLY: Serving as the Mail Orderly or 3rd Medical Battalion is a critical command collateral that demands exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. This role involves managing the log, sorting, and the distribution of sensitive and time-critical correspondence and packages to over 200 personnel, ensuring seamless and secure flow of information and materials throughout the battalion. Efficient execution of mail operations supported mission readiness by enabling prompt delivery official documents, and personnel communications. Position requires strict adherence to security protocols and confidentiality standards, contributing directly to operational efficiency and the overall effectiveness of the battalion's administrative functions.

Section:

IMR REPRESENATIVE: Assuming responsibility for the Medical Readiness Reporting System (MRRS) as a collateral duty showcased strong organizational and analytical capabilities in managing and reporting critical medical readiness data for 100% of assigned personnel. By proactively ensuring all members completed required medical readiness tasks before inclusion on the deployment HIT list, this role maintained a 100% fully medically ready status across the unit. Accurate tracking and timely updates ensured full compliance with Department of Defense health standards and deployment requirements. Through diligent oversight, medical readiness rates improved by 15%, directly enhancing the units overall deploy ability and mission effectiveness. The proficient management of MRRS played a vital role in sustaining operational readiness, supporting leadership decision-making, and safeguarding the health and welfare of all service members.
