- As Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Liam adroitly solved personnel issues to take care of his Sailors and keep them on track. At NSWDG, he acquired 215 uniform items for 100+ Sailors and provided audit-proof financial management for 30 accounts, 100 new requisitions, and $650,000 of equipment funds.

- Superbly applied leadership and training acumen to support the fleet, staying in the forefront for critical assignments. During 180 days of ADT with Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), he oversaw an outstanding discrepancy-free review of the command's fleet fuel program. He brilliantly managed EOD assets: Applying causal research and reporting unwarranted surveys, he saved the command $8 million.

- Received Department of Labor and Workforce Development scholarship to complete CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ IT certifications. Volunteered 380+ hours to his church, setting up audio-video conferencing and managing the computer network. Completed Helpdesk Admin and Management program (4 IT courses, 12 credit-hours) at ECPI University.

- Under his guidance as Senior Enlisted Leader, two reserve Sailors were promoted to PO1 due to the aggressive training program he implemented and training support he provided for his crew. Chief Liam allowed his Sailors to grow professionally by approving them to attend military schools and rating-specific training beneficial for their careers and in full support of the maritime missions and air mobility operations of the TACRON community.

- As Department LCPO for TACRON 22, he expertly managed 10 Sailors with various financial and logistical taskings for recent Supply Technical Assist Visit (STAV). His diligence drastically improved all record documentation across the command; ensuring the Supply Department is 100% inspection ready for upcoming Supply Management Inspection (SMA).

- Aggressively pursued and completed all requirements for a Master's degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance while simultaneously ensuring all department projects were completed on time. Awarded the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) 4011/4012 certifications for Senior Security Systems Manager and Information Security Professional.

- His passion for the Navy radiated throughout the command, bolstering junior Sailors' "Pride of Belonging" at the highest level resulting in 100% department retention for fiscal year 2017.

- Flawlessly performed duties as Financial Operations Manager and Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Coordinator, successfully managing $850K operating target funds. Provided 30 training evolutions for subordinates and supervisors, keeping department personnel current on the latest revisions in fiscal operations and compliance.
