Crewleader and then LPO for MCC Kuwait. Although new to Embark and working outside his rating, BU1 managed the flawless movement of over 8,000 troops from 27 commands spanning five countries. BU1 led his crew in the construction of 85 463L pallets consisting of 6,895 line items and over 1 million pounds of gear. He was also a key part of the movement of 24 pieces of Civil Engineer Support Equipment (CESE) back to CONUS.




NMCB 11's Embark LPO. BU2 directly supervised 17 personnel in the completion of 54 movements and 802,900 pounds of equipment and gear to Camp Shelby for FTX. Supervised and assisted in the completion of Battalion Mount Out to EUCOM for deployment of 462 personnel and over 87,800 pounds of gear all while maintaining gear and equipment worth in excess of $1,500,000.




NMCB22 Embark Chief. He personally ensured the successful embark and debark of more than 550 battalion Seabees over the course of three distinct and individual operations, from their homes of record to Port Hueneme, CA. During the course of the operations, he conducted the training of the battalion Embark and Transportation staffs, contributing to the battalion's 12% increase in readiness.




During this period, while Embark Chief, EOC was responsible for overseeing four Mount-out exercises and contributed to superior assessments and certification for deployments. As part of the embark team for RTP1 and UDT1, BU3 led a team of twelve embark members in gathering travel information for 108 sailors, executing $189,202 in ADT, IDTT, and AT orders. BU3 volunteered over 20 off-duty hours coordinating an effective plan to streamline the embark check-in process and securing transportation for UDT1 and RTP1, which resulted in 100% sailor readiness for orders. BU3 assumed responsibility for tracking and reporting the personnel movement of 108 sailors participating in 2 events in 2 separate locations. As a result of her attention to detail and perseverance, her efforts led to 100% accountability and on-time reporting to the Commanding Officer.




As the embark chief, he was responsible for the supervision of S-2 equipment and classified material, ensuring the integrity of six quad cons and over 100 pieces of classified material. While afloat, he endured 16 hour days, maintaining the high operational tempo while providing real world, exercise, and operational support. During the Exercise PHIBLEX, employed the Naval Integrated Tactical Environmental System Variant IV (NITES IV) in the country of Philippines where there is limited sensing capability.




As embark Petty Officer, he took charge of a crew that consisted of six personnel to support and execute five movements for the Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team (FAST) Marines. Within six hours of receiving the phone call, the first plane was up in the air heading to the embassy crisis in North Africa. The movement plan consisted of 60,000 LBS of life support gear, weapons, force protection materials, and 120 personal required to support the crisis in North Africa.




Flawlessly executed the movement of 1,100 personnel in support of both NMCB Three and Five's PACOM deployment while simultaneously tracing 400 inter-theater movements. Additionally, he set the NCF Embark standard by leading 60 personnel in the 2015 Mount-Out Training Exercise, receiving high accolades from both 30NCR and MCC West.




As VMGR-252's embark clerk, showed initiative in verifying over 1,100 records for accuracy for VMGR's MDSSII data for CGRI inspection. Assumed the lead for the inspection and was graded Mission Capable with a Certificate of Commendation. Preparing the detachment for deployment, he tracked 87 Marines' CIIF gear and weapons and verified departing aircraft load out. Was the only HAZMAT certified Marine able to produce HAZDECs and HAZDIPs for the squadron. In addition, successfully planned, loaded, verified, deployed and tracked alert forces of six aircraft and 80 personnel to six separate locations across two continents with 100% accuracy. Established himself as a force multiplier for SPMAGTF-CR-AF.
