MWR President

- COMMAND ENGAGED. As MWR President, coordinated X fundraisers and X command picnics, which contributed to high morale and camaraderie within the Command.




- ASTUTE MANAGER. As the MWR Chairman, she oversaw a $X budget, the organization of X command picnics and X fundraisers, improving morale for X Sailors.




- COMMAND PILLAR. As MWR Chairman, he managed a budget of over $66,000. Coordinated the annual command Holiday Party and two command Picnic events, hosting over 395 Sailors and their families. His selfless contribution led to a vast improvement in team work and esprit de corps throughout the command.




AS COMMAND MWR PRESIDENT, REPEATEDLY PLANNED FUNCTIONS FOR THE UPLIFTMENT OF THE CREW'S MORALE.




AS MWR PRESIDENT, SINGLE-HANDEDLY ORGANIZED THREE CHRISTMAS PARTIES, THREE COMMAND PICNICS, AND WEEKLY SALES FOR MWR FUND RAISERS, EARNING OVER $5,000 FOR THE MWR FUND.




AS A STELLAR MWR PRESIDENT, PETTY OFFICER LEAH RAISED OVER 50,000 DOLLARS, HOSTED OVER 200 MWR TOURS, TOURNAMENTS, AND EVENTS, AND WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN SOURCING OVER 400 ITEMS OF GYM GEAR EFFECTIVLEY MAKING USS INGRAHAM THE BEST EQUIPPED FITNESS FRIGATE IN THE ENTIRE FLEET.




HER LEADERSHIP SKILLS WHILE MWR PRESIDENT WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN THE RAISING OF MORE THAN $33,000 FOR THE COMMAND MWR FUND.




As elected MWR president, oversaw 13 command MWR events and raised over $10,000 for worthy causes.




THREE MONTHS ABOARD NUWCDETAUTEC, HIS COMMITMENT TO DUTY AS THE MWR PRESIDENT WAS UNMATCHED. HIS PERSISTENT EFFORTS ORGANIZED 40 FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES AND GENERATED PROFITS OF $2,500.




Hand selected and subsequently elected as MWR President, he supervised 15 personnel and 3 committees and organized and coordinated all fundraisers, including 2 carwashes and 4 food sales which generated a profit of $5,000. He also established and managed the PCU building Recyclable program.



MWR Vice-President

- COMMAND INVOLVEMENT. As MWR Vice President, volunteered # hours aiding the organization and execution events such as # food sales, the Pacific Islander Heritage Event, and the Command Picnic.




- MORALE BUILDER. As MWR Vice President, organized multiple fundraising events, raising $X towards the holiday party.




- COMMAND INVOLVED. As MWR Vice President, led X Sailors in X MWR events directly contributing to camaraderie and morale for X Sailors and their families. Selflessly devoted X off-duty hours to fundraisers raising $X for additional command events.




-MORALE BOOSTER. Led by example as the MWR Vice President, he volunteered 201 hours organizing 30 volunteer events which raised $18,453 to fund all annual command functions. His exemplary leadership and work ethic helped raise the morale among the Command and resulted in 2,159 man hours volunteered.




As MWR Vice President, she facilitated the planning and the execution of numerous MWR events. She dedicated 40 hours to boosting morale for 660 Sailors' and families to enjoy events during the COVID-19 Pandemic, including the Halloween Candy Bag distribution, Thanksgiving Day Feed the Troops, and the Holiday Raffle.




AS MWR VICE PRESIDENT, SHE DEDICATED OVER 200 HOURS TO THE COMMAND.




Organized 6 command events and multiple emblematic sales raising over $5000 for ship's maiden deployment.




HIS MANDATORY COFFEE MESS SCHEME EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS AND INCREASED PROFITS BY 25% ENABLING A CONTRIBUTION OF $10,000 TO THE MWR FUND.




AS A LEADER, HE BUILT AND PROMOTED THE FIRST EVER JUNIOR ENLISTED ASSOCIATION (JEA) HERE. AS THE FIRST JEA PRESIDENT HE WAS ABLE TO RAISE OVER 1100 DOLLARS FOR THE TEST DEPARTMENT CHRISTMAS PARTY. HIS DUTIES AS MORALE, WELFARE, AND RECREATION (MWR) REPRESENTATIVE DEMONSTRATED HIS RESOURCEFULNESS AND DEDICATION TO THE SUSTAINMENT OF THE OVERALL MORALE OF THE COMMAND.



MWR Secretary

- DYNAMIC PERFORMER. As MWR Secretary, maintained minutes for # meetings and volunteered # hours for MWR events, thereby boosting morale for Sailors.




- COMMAND ORIENTED. As MWR Secretary, participated in all MWR fundraising events and significantly improved the camaraderie and morale in the command. Efforts raised $# towards a highly successful command picnic.




- COMMAND PILLAR. As MWR Secretary, organized, supervised, and executed X fundraisers for the command's holiday party, raised over $X, and greatly increased the morale and unit cohesion of X personnel.



MWR Treasurer

- TEAM DRIVEN. Meticulously managed MWR funds totaling $# that supported command events and functions, enhancing morale for my command.




- COMMAND PILLAR. As MWR Treasurer, managed a $X budget for the MWR fund, planned X events, purchased holiday gifts, and raised $X through the creation and sale of merchandise, ensuring an enhanced state of morale and unit cohesion.




- COMMAND IMPACT. As MWR Treasurer, administered an $XK budget through X MWR events.




- COMMAND ADVOCATE. As MWR Treasurer, she positively impacted the morale of more than X Sailors by managing unit allocation funds, raising over $X.




As MWR treasurer, he oversaw and managed funds in excess of $10,000.




AS THE MWR TREASURER, HE BUDGETED OVER $100,000 WHICH DIRECTLY SUPPORTED THE MORALE AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR SAILORS ABOARD NOSC BESSEMER.




Petty Officer Kelly was elected to be the President of the Blue Angels Enlisted Association 2 years in a row leading 11 elected officials in the completion of 133 sales events, 12 command events, while selling $35,000 in products, generating a combined total of over $100,000 in funds and raising $70,000 for Command Welfare and recreational use.




AS MWR TREASURER, SHE HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED THE MORALE OF THE SAILORS IN THE COMMAND BY PLANNING AND OVERSEEING THE EXECUTION OF 7 MAJOR AND MULTIPLE SMALLER SCALE MORALE-BUILDING EVENTS WHILE MANAGING A TOTAL BUDGET OF MORE THAN $25,000 WITH NO DISCREPANCIES.



MWR Public Affairs Officer (PAO)

- COMMAND INVOLVEMENT. As the MWR PAO, created # flyers for events and fundraisers, which contributed to an increase in the command's MWR events.



MWR Coordinator

- COMMAND IMPACT. As the Command MWR Representative, her efforts raised over $#K while coordinating a command BBQ Picnic and a command Christmas Party that boosted morale during a demanding pre-deployment cycle.




- COMMAND PILLAR. As MWR representative, raised over $#K in support of the command's MWR picnic.




- COMMAND INVOLVEMENT. As MWR Events Coordinator, assisted in X fundraisers, raising more than $X.




- COMMAND INVOLVEMENT. As MWR Events Coordinator, played an essential role in the coordination of X events and assisted in raising $X for the command holiday party.




AS MWR COORDINATOR HE COORDINATED AND PARTIPATED IN 17 FUNDRAISERS, RAISING OVER $9,OOO IN SUPPORT OF THE MWR FUND AND COMMAND HOLIDAY.




AS THE COMMAND MWR COORDINATOR, SHE FLAWLESSLY COORDINATED FIVE COMMAND EVENTS THAT INCREASED MORALE AND CAMARDERIE THROUGHOUT THE COMMAND.




In a short time he was elevated to key positions in the unit which are normally reserved for more seasoned members. He serves as the Mobilization director, MWR coordinator, and the unit Family Day liaison.




AS MWR COORDINATOR HE HELPED DETAIL KONTALI TO SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAIN OPERATIONS AT A FORWARD OPERATING LOCATION WITH DIFFICULT LOGISTICS REQUIREMENTS WHILE MAINTAINING A CONSISTENTLY HIGH LEVEL OF MORALE.




She established the first Command MWR program, producing 3 holiday parties, a library, and a movie catalog for Sailors.




AS ACTING MWR LCPO, HE LED 16 SAILORS IN THE EXECUTION OF 3,363 TICKET SALES AND APPROXIMATELY 800 MANHOURS OF SNACK SHACK SALES RAISING OVER $120,000 FOR FIVE COMMAND EVENTS IN SUPPORT OF 2,500 IKE SAILORS.




DISPLAYING IMPRESSIVE RESOURCEFULNESS AND EXTRAORDINATY LEADERSHIP, HE ASSISTED IN THE ORCHESTRATION OF THE COMMAND'S FIRST HOLIDAY PARTY FOR 53 MILITARY AND 11 ROMANIAN MILITARY MEMBERS AND FOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MWR FACILITY.




SHE FLAWLESSLY MAINTAINED RECORDS FOR MORE THAN 24 MONTHS ACCOUNTING FOR OVER $150,000 DOLLARS IN REQUSITIONS AND SALES, WHICH ALLOWED THE SALES DIVISION TO CONTRIBUTE OVER $70,000 DOLLARS TO THE SHIP'S MWR COMMITTEE. HER ORGANIZATON AND ACCURACY OVER THE PAST 24 MONTHS FACILITATED AN OVERALL RATING OF OUTSTANDING, SCORING 95% PERCENT ON THE SUPPLY MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION.




HE SUPPORTED THE OPTEMPO OF THE DET BY COORDINATING AND FACILITATING MWR EVENTS TO INCLUDE HOLIDAY PARTIES AND QUARTERLY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS FOR ALL UNIT MEMBERS INCREASING UNIT ESPRIT DE CORPS. HE ALSO MANAGED FUNDS BY SERVING AS TREASURER FOR THE DET B DINING OUT.




Petty Officer Parker led his division towards a leading 88% Communications score during INSURV assessment. This combined with his command-oriented contributions such as two years as MWR President and as a critical member of the Command Assessment Team, demonstrated ET2 Parker's sustained superior performance.



MWR Committee Member

- TRUSTED ADVISOR. As MWR Officer, administered the transition to a new MWR team, after successfully executing the 20XX Command Holiday Party from a $X budget.




-PEER FOCUSED. As a MWR Representative, assisted in planning the command picnic and Family Fun Day for X Sailors, enhancing command unity and boosting overall morale.




As MWR Committee member, she organized, supervised and executed 28 fundraisers for the command's holiday celebrations, greatly increasing the morale of 77 military and 100 civilian personnel and their families.




COMMAND INVOLVED - MWR committee member. Petty Officer Kostas maintained high morale by coordinating 3 MWR functions which raised $2440 while in homeport San Diego.




AS CHAIR PERSON FOR THE 119TH HOSPITAL CORPSMAN BALL, HE COMMITTED 40 HOURS FOR 22 CLINIC FOOD SALES EVENTS AND RAISED OVER $7,000 FOR THE MWR PROGRAM. HIS NEGOTIATION SKILLS HELPED SECURED A VENUE WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY OUT OF THE COMMITTEE'S PRICE RANGE.




AS THE MWR LOGISTICS OFFICER, SHE COORDINATED SIX SUCCESSFUL GEE-DUNK SALES, RAISING OVER $1000 TOWARDS THE NIOC HOLIDAY PARTY AND BOOSTING COMMAND MORALE.




He also assisted with 5 potluck events, sustaining the crew's morale, as one of the PELARG DET's MWR Represenitives.




VITAL MEMBER OF THE COMMAND MWR COMMITTEE, SHE ASSISTED WITH THE COMMITTEE'S SALES, BRINGING IN A TOTAL OF $5,000 WHICH WENT TOWARDS THE COMMAND'S HOLIDAY PARTY.

SHE VOLUNTEERED OVER 50 OFF-DUTY HOURS TO NASCPOA OFF-BASE CLEAN UP AND COACHING AN MWR YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAM.
