Orientation Program Evals


- Master planner and organizer. Petty Officer xxx was directly responsible for reinstituting Area Orientation Brief and Intercultural Relations quotas for all incoming personnel, upon reporting to USS XXXX. She quickly identified over 240 enlisted Sailors who had not completed the requirement and established a detailed plan which included Fleet and Family Support Center, providing additional quotas for USS XXX personnel. She also organized innumerable Pre-deployment and Return to Homeport briefs which significantly reduced liberty incidents and increased morale for USS XXX Sailors and their families.




Demonstrating exceptional leadership, implemented the orientation binder for the multi-service ward staff to provide a more in-depth orientation for incoming staff. The binders included all competencies necessary for the ward and review for all corpsmen. Over 40 staff orientation binders were created and reviewed to ensure compliance with Joint Commission requirements which lead to 100% training satisfaction during Joint Commission. These efforts provided all staff with an improved orientation guide to enhance the training experience to assure successful transition to the Multi-Service Ward.




Assisted with the Orientation Program by collaborating with the unit Training petty officer in compiling orientation packets, creating training schedules, and organizing classes for seven Sailors which resulted in 100% completion per Joint Commission standards and the Commanding General Inspection Program. Additionally, prepared three HMs to be tasked out in completing CTM by issuing the MREs required to participate in essential training.




Administratively planned and coordinated Command Orientations which led to the efficient indoctrination of staff into a new working environment and 100% compliance. Implemented and updated trackers which ensured 50 new personnel attended all designated training required. Additionally, assisted with the logistics of Basic Life Support and CPR classes. Management of equipment and supplies was critical during the week-long event which ultimately increased compliance to 92% from 82%.




As a highly sought after Air Reserve Component Field Orientation briefer, she unfailingly delivered informational briefings and provided building tours for over 800 attendees and distinguished visitors.




As Command Indoctrination and Orientation program coordinator, he administered 20 Classes with 275 attending, resulting in 99% overall compliance for the Command.




Facilitated orientation training for two newly checked-in corpsmen on clinic SOPs and Genesis Health System, ultimately increased patient access to care.




- Planned and executed three highly successful Freshman Orientations. Skillfully supervised midshipman leadership, achieving completely effective indoctrination without any incidents.




As the Mid-Shift Service Head, he led training and orientation for four junior sailors in the completion of 680 surgical procedures.




His high degree of leadership resulted in the orientation of 57 Sailors and the provision of the highest quality healthcare to 5,000 patients in over 60 shifts on four fast-paced Multi-Surgical Suite Wards that housed 107 beds combined.
