Training Petty Officer (TPO)
PO2 Sailor, this counseling is being given to you to recognize your efforts and dedication to your duties and responsibilities as a Department Training Petty Officer (TPO) and temporary Leading Petty Officer (LPO) from 01 Dec 23 to 01 Jan 24. Your steadfast dedication as the DEPT TPO has helped N3A Sailors stay on top of their mandatory annual trainings. We thank you for keeping track of every Sailor's training progress on a regular basis.
You demonstrated excellent leadership when you initiated the first iteration of the mandatory Continuation Pay training by coordinating with a CFS, setting up the training date and disseminating the information to the Department in a timely and professional manner.
Your time as the temporary LPO was a testament to your leadership abilities. You were asked to be the temporary LPO in the middle of a hectic holiday season while preparing the Department for the ACFT inspection. Bravo Zulu! You delegated tasks to your Junior Sailors so that they could stay involved during the inspection process. Your Junior Sailors respect your professionalism and patience while teaching them how to prepare the inspected materials. You especially earned your Junior Sailors' respect when you praised their demonstrated proficiency in performing their assigned tasks. Additionally, you went above and beyond to show compassion and empathy toward your Junior Sailors' emotional needs. We thank you for looking out for your Junior Sailors professionally and emotionally. The Navy needs more over-achieving and motivated leaders like yourself. You perform at a First Class Petty Officer level.
