Technical Expertise and Leadership:
ITN2 CLARK exhibited superior technical knowledge in leading the team to restore SIPRNET functionality during an unplanned loss of service. His quick, decisive actions allowed the system to be restored at a rate faster than originally projected, minimizing downtime and ensuring continued mission success.

SIPRNET Restoration during Crew Exchange:
During a critical crew exchange in a foreign port, ITN2 CLARK worked tirelessly for 72 hours, troubleshooting and rebuilding NOSIS, ensuring that the LAN transfer for the first-ever foreign port crew swap was completed seamlessly. His leadership and determination were vital in preventing any network disruptions during this complex operation.

NIPR Restoration and Crew Support:
While off crew, ITN2 CLARK played an instrumental role in restoring the NIPR network following an unplanned outage. His efforts helped raise crew morale and facilitated preparations for the upcoming Operational Support Exercise (OSE) and the Commodore visit with a camera crew.

Pacific Message Center Watch Officer, Petty Officer Coppa efficiently managed 14 sailors and a hundred million dollars in message center equipment. As PMCWO, he directed 450 naval units covering two-thirds of global communications.




Served as the Domain administrator for the ISAF and GCTF Centrix networks, a position normally held by a senior systems engineer. Petty Officer Coppa spent over 200 hours on and off duty repairing, upgrading and, maintaining both systems.




Petty Officer Coppa spent numerous hours on- and off-duty repairing, upgrading and, maintaining the ISAF and GCTF Centrix networks which kept Marine Central Command in contact with their deployed forces and two sea-based carrier strike groups with ground forces in Afghanistan.




Devoted over 200 off-duty hours to ensure all available repair parts and consumables were ordered, delivered, and stored during a voyage repair period allowing radio division to maintain 100% readiness at all times.




Led the development of a command IT ticketing system which tracked and archived all trouble tickets and ensured maximum efficiency and kept all IT assets operating at peak efficiency.




Coordinated the re-imaging of over 500 SIPRnet assets with 15 headquarters Marine Corps agencies within the national capital region. Developed the on-boarding indoctrination training for 17 MITSC HQMC Call center contractors.
