Tool Control Program Evals
- DYNAMIC LOGISTICAN. Led 5 Sailors in the daily management, custody, and issuance of tool replacements and the safe handling of hazardous materials for 220 maintenance personnel. As the Tool Control Program Coordinator, he spearheaded a comprehensive revamp of the program achieving a 100% tool verification which led to the identification and correction of 1000 discrepancies. His oversight of 5,832 tools and 200 tool containers resulted in a proactive approach to supporting the squadron in preparation for 2025 AMI.
- DEDICATED TEAM MEMBER. As an EAWS qualifier, he trained 10 personnel leading to 6 EAWS designations in the command. As one of the 3 qualified forklift operators ashore and afloat he ensured the safe handling of 1,000 pallets during the offload of three combat elements and the CVN with zero mishaps. As Tool room Supervisor he trained 5 people in the proper procedures for checking in and out hazmat and tool room consumables.
- Command Asset. Devoted 5 hours in the setup and breakdown for the Feeding the troops event which boosted the moral of 293 Blue Hawks and their families.
OUTSTANDING LEADER. As Tool Control Program Coordinator, she successfully led 13 work centers and four command-ready detachments in the proper maintenance and upkeep of 176 toolboxes, enforcing strict adherence to the Tool Control Manual and NAVSUP 4790. Facilitated the replacement of 201 Broken/Missing/Worn Tool reports and the acquisition of 337 assets valued at $ 2.9M. LS2 enforced tool control procedures, eliminating foreign object damage (FOD) incidents and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. As Tool Control Program Manager, enforced FOD prevention measures, maintaining 100% tool accountability and supporting safe aircraft launches. Conducted routine inspections and audits, resulting in zero tool discrepancies and compliance with all maintenance standards.
