PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AS SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER AND MEMEBER OF THE COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING TEAM FOR USS XXXXXX FROM APRIL 2006 TO MARCH 2007. PETTY OFFICER XXXXXX'S APPROACH TO BOTH SEARCH AND RESCUE TRAINING AND COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING WAS THE FOUNDATION OF XXXXXXX'S EXCELLENCE IN WARFIGHTING DURING CART II. HE EXECUTED A PERFECT MAN OVERBOARD RECOVERY AND SUPERVISED AND EXECUTED THE ELECTRONIC WARFARE COMBAT SCENARIOS. HIS MANAGERIAL ABILITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND USWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECT CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AS SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER ONBOARD USS STETHEM FROM APRIL 2008 TO APRIL 2009. PETTY OFFICER COLE ASSISTED IN OVER 3,000 HOURS OF MAINTENANCE AND PRESERVATION, COVERING OVER 50,000 SQUARE FEET OF TOPSIDE AND INTERIOR SPACES. AS PRIMARY SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER, AIRMAN COLE SAFELY CONDUCTED THE EXECUTION AND RECOVERY OF STETHEM'S TORPEDO DURING TORPEX RESULTING IN ZERO SAFETY DISCREPANCIES. PETTY OFFICER COLE'S DEDICATION, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




AS COMBAT SYSTEMS COMBAT GUNNERY DIVISION LEADING PETTY OFFICER AND PRIMARY SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER ONBOARD USS GREEN BAY (LPD 20) FROM OCTOBER 2012 TO OCTOBER 2016, GM2 MILLER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TROUBLESHOOTING AND CORRECTION OF THREE MAJOR CASUALTIES TO THE MK 46 GUN WEAPON SYSTEM. AS THE SHIP'S PRIMARY SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER, GM2 MILLER'S EXPERTISE LED TO GREEN BAY SCORING 100% ON THE SEARCH AND RESCUE CERTIFICATION. ADDITIONALLY, DURING A ROUTINE UNDERWAY IN THE SUMMER OF 2014, HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE RESPONSE AND RESCUE OF THE CREW OF THE HAPPY 2 BOAT. PETTY OFFICER MILLER'S DEDICATION, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




CULINARY SPECIALIST THIRD CLASS ON BOARD USS CHUNG-HOON DDG 93 FROM JUNE 2015 TO FEBRUARY 2018. PETTY OFFICER PEELE CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY TO THE COMMAND AS THE SEARCH AND RESCUE SWIMMER FOR THE 2016 MID PACIFIC DEPLOYMENT, PERFORMING OVER ONE HUNDRED HOURS OF BOAT AND FLIGHT OPERATIONS AS WELL AS SEVEN MAN OVERBOARD DRILLS, ENSURING THAT THE USS CHUNG-HOON MAINTAINED ITS ABILITY TO PERFORM SEAMANSHIP EVOLUTIONS SUCCESSFULY AND SAFELY. IN ADDITION, HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE EXECUTION OF MEAL PREPARATION FOR ALL HANDS AS WELL AS MATERIAL CONDITION READINESS FOR THE SUPPLY DEPARTMENT, AND AS NIGHT BAKER, HE PREPARED OVER 77,000 MEALS FOR THE SHIP'S CREW CONTRIBUTING TO THE SHIPS OVERALL MORALE AND PERFORMANCE WHILE UNDERWAY. PETTY OFFICER PEELE'S OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE, PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
