As Hangar Deck Supervisor, executed and led 30 extensive aviation firefighting drills, delivering 65 hours of training to 100 Sailors, significantly strengthening emergency response readiness. His leadership directly resulted in the qualification of six Chock and chainmen and five conflag operators, dramatically improving department flexibility, watchbill resilience, and operational performance.

As Work Center Supervisor, he flawlessly planned and executed over 1235 preventive and corrective maintenance actions, 36 spot checks totaling, and conducted 2 force revision totalling over driving an exceptional 100% Recorded Accomplishment Rate while maintaining strict adherence to maintenance standards.

-MISSION FIRST WARFIGHTER. A driving force behind Air Department readiness, he invested 115 hours executing aviation firefighting training for USS Tripoli s first-ever FDNF patrol. He commanded 168 Sailors through 22 Hangar and Flight Deck fire drills. As Hangar Deck P.O, he dominated deck operations, leading 31 Sailors in the flawless execution of 120 aircraft moves, 165 elevator runs, and 655 hours of conflagration watch all while fortifying V-3 s Watch Team Replacement Plan by qualifying 26 Sailors in 84 in-rate PQS.

-EXCEPTIONAL SUPERVISOR. As Primary Work Center Supervisor, he oversaw the completion of 2,004 maintenance checks, accumulating 1186 man-hours maintaining 100% equipment readiness. ABH2 created and tracked 75 work candidates and 50 equipment validations sustaining a high level of material condition readiness onboard Tripoli.

-COMMAND IMPACT. As an ACFL, he led 12 divisional physical training events, assisted in five Fitness Enhancement Program sessions, and eight Physical Fitness Assessments for CY2025. His selfless efforts resulting in 96% passing rate for V-3 division, and 98% passing rate command-wide. Furthermore, As ATTT member, he dedicated more than 15hrs of preparation for Anti-Terrorism advanced phase.

Additionally, he trained and produced 10 spotty dolly operators, 20 conflagration qualified watch standers, and 15 plane handlers, resulting in a fully-manned WTRP all while maintaining the upkeep of 28 divisional spaces xxxx square feet of hangar bay.
-VERSATILE. As V301 maintenance person, he aided in the completion of xxxx preventative and corrective maintenance checks and the completion of 125 jobs accounting for 110 man-hours resulting in 100% PAR, saving the Navy over $75,000 in contractor costs.

-TECHNICAL EXPERT- As a newly appointed engine operator, he quickly mastered the knowledge and skill to maintain and run four E-28 emergency arresting gear engines while completing over 40 maintenance actions to ensure 100% airfield readiness. Participated in the annual gear certification resulting in pass for the airfield.

-ESSENTIAL TEAM MEMBER- Assisted in the launch and recovery of over 50 aircraft while avoiding any mishaps and adhered to all safety rules and regulations.

-COMMAND INVOLVEMENT- An active member of the honor guard funeral service, has participated in 6 funeral details.

As a Plane Handler, ABH3 Cooper was instrumental in 798 mishap-free aircraft movements and 1,393 elevator operations. His leadership resulted in the qualification of 11 Flight Deck Observers and nine Conflagration Station Operators during TRANSPORTEX and SSANG YONG exercises during USS America's 24.2 and 25.1 FDNF-J Patrols.




-As Fly 3 Aircraft Director, she was pivotal in the training and qualification of 10 aircraft directors, the safe execution of 22 aircraft firefighting drills and providing 50 hours of training to 13 junior sailors qualifying as 3M Maintenance Man. Her skilled performance was crucial to the launch and recovery of 984 aircraft, 293 aircraft moves and 91 elevator runs yielding the safe, smooth and successful completion of USS Carl Vinson's Flight Deck Certification by Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific.




Coordinated and oversaw work on the largest Ballistic Missile Submarine overhaul ever attempted. He managed a budget in excess of 200 million dollars and supported a fulltime workforce of over 120 contract and military personnel.




While deployed with the USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), Petty Officer Sailor ranked among the top three junior Sailors in Air Operation. His "can do" attitude was an inspiration to peers as well as his supervisors. Through expertise and knowledge, he contributed toward the successful movement of 3,345 passengers, 210,000 pounds of cargo and 33,400 gallons of JP-5, resulting in over 200 safe and efficient sorties.

While deployed with the USNS Mercy (T-AH 20), Petty Officer Sailor coordinated and supervised Damage Control circuit training for over 250 personal during deployment activation, significantly contributing to the ship's overall safety. He distinguished himself as an outstanding leader by training and qualifying five flight deck salvage crewman in fire and rescue procedures. He expertly inspected and prepared all critical firefighting equipment in support of over 280 flight deck operation missions. His technical expertise was instrumental in the safe transit of more than 900 personnel to mission sites, movement of 1,300 pallets, execution of 10 Vertical Replenishment evolutions and the transfer of over 40,000 gallons of JP-5.




A top performer and leader who stands head and shoulders above his peers. While working in Recycling his ability and work ethic in collecting, sorting, and selling recycling materials significantly increased the department's revenue by 75% and garnered accolades from BUMED external inspection team. He packed and delivered 5,000 pounds of recycled batteries in less than three months, a feat never before accomplished by recycling personnel. Assigned as the primary Hazardous Material Waste supervisor, ABH2 Myers has safely inspected stored and transported over 200 containers of hazardous waste with zero mishaps. This resulted in decreased hazardous waste disposal and saved the command $15,000 in associated costs.




PLAYED A CENTRAL ROLE IN THE REDEPLOYMENT OF 925 SAILORS DURING THE MOST DRAMATIC DRAWDOWN OF NAVAL FORCES IN IRAQ IN THE HISTORY OF OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, INCLUDING THE REDEPLOYMENT OF THE BASE COMMAND GROUP FOR AL ASAD AIR BASE AND A TASK FORCE DETAINEE GUARD UNIT. HIS WELL QUALIFIED ACTIONS CONTRIBUTED TO A SEAMLESS 60% DECREASE IN THE SAILOR FOOTPRINT IN IRAQ DURING HIS TENURE.




- As the Fleet Liaison Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Operations Department, NAS Fallon, Nevada, he led 39 personnel through over 8,000 fueling evolutions, ensuring the safe and timely transfer of more than 300,000 gallons of fuel to the myriad of operational units supported by NAS Fallon. His unprecedented mentorship and deckplate leadership increased Fleet Liaison's retention rate to 98% and advancement to 60%. In addition, his involvement with the Hazardous Waste program helped identify problems and develop innovative solutions that ultimately saved $200,000 annually in the recycling of hazardous waste.
