ADDITIONALLY, AS THE RELIGIOUS OFFERING FUND CUSTODIAN, HE ACCOUNTED FOR OVER 90,000 DOLLARS AND ENSURED THE ACCURATE AND COMPLETE RECORD KEEPING FOR AUDITING PURPOSES, RESULTING IN ZERO DISCREPANCIES. PETTY OFFICER MENEELY'S DETERMINATION AND DESIRE TO LEARN WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN PERFORMING HIS DUTIES AS CHAPEL RELIGIOUS OFFERING FUND CUSTODIAN MANAGING AN ACCOUNT OF SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS WITH OVER ONE HUNDRED DISBURSEMENTS AND RESULTED IN EIGHT QUARTERLY AUDITS, TWO MANAGER'S INTERNAL CONTROL ASSESSEMENTS WITH NO DISCREPANCIES. EISENHOWER (CVN 69) FROM JUNE 2012 TO DECEMBER 2012. DEMONSTRATING RIGOROUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL, PETTY OFFICER XXX SUPERVISED OVER 450 RELIGIOUS SERVICES. DISPLAYING EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP, HE LED HIS RELIGIOUS MINISTRIES TEAM IN COMPLETING AN AMBITIOUS CATALOGING OF THE SHIP'S LIBRARY, PROCESSING OVER 240 AMERICAN RED CROSS MESSAGES, AND DEVOTEDLY SERVED OVER 28,000 PATRONS IN THE SHIP'S LIBRARY, CREW LOUNGE AND THE INTERNET CAFE. PETTY OFFICER XXX'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEDICATION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




STAFF CHAPLAIN AT RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND FROM XXXXXXX 2011 TO XXXXXXX 2014. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER JESUS M. SANTOROS PROVIDED AND CONDUCTED THE SUCCESSFUL PASTORAL MINISTRY AND CARE OF 25,000 RECRUITS AND STAFF MEMBERS IN 6 DIFFERENT RECRUIT BARRACKS DURING HIS TENURE. HE PROVIDED 310 COMBINED CORE VALUES AND INITIAL ARRIVAL BRIEFS TO 280 DIVISIONS. DURING A CRITICAL MANNING SHORTFALL, HE ASSUMED ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES TO FACILITATE TWO CHAPLAIN PCS TRANSFERS, ONE CHAPLAIN IA DEPLOYMENT, AND ONE CHAPLAIN'S SURGERY AND SUBSEQUENT CONVALESCENT LEAVE BY COVERING THE RECRUIT CONVALESCENT UNIT IN ADDITION TO HIS TWO ASSIGNED RECRUIT BARRACKS. IN ADDITION, HE COUNSELED over 1,100 TROUBLED RECRUITS FROM THE RECRUIT CONVALESCENT UNIT, RIFLE, PERFORMING, AND DIVE MOTIVATOR DIVISIONS MOTIVATING THEM TO COMPLETE TRAINING. FINALLY, AS COMMAND SUICIDE PREVENTION COORDINATOR, HE PROVIDED MONTHLY REPORTS TO THE COMMANDER TO IDENTIFY AND COUNTER NEGATIVE TRENDS AND INCORPORATED THE NAVY'S PEER TO PEER TRAINING INTO HIS CORE VALUES BRIEFS TO BETTER EQUIP RECRUITS. HE ALSO REVISED THE SUICIDE RESPONSE MATRIX WHICH RESULTED IN BETTER TRAINING DURING SAFETY STAND DOWNS AND ZERO SUCCESSFUL SUICIDES DURING HIS TENURE. PETTY OFFICER REAUME'S INSPIRING LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL INITIATIVE WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN PERFORMING HIS DUTIES AS THE HEADQUARTERS AND SERVICE BATTALION RELIGIOUS PROGRAM SPECIALIST. DURING THIS TIME, PETTY OFFICER REAUME WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN EXECUTING THE COMMAND VISION OF ESTABLISHING A MEN'S AND WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP GROUPS AIMED AT REDUCING THE NUMBER OF MARINES FACING ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEEDINGS. IN ADDITION, HE ASSISTED IN LOCAL RECORD CHECKS OF HUNDREDS OF MARINES CHECKING IN AND OUT OF THE BATTALION, QUALIFYING AS AN ASSISTANT SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR. USING HIS LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO LIAISON WITH ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL AND CIVILIAN CLERGY, HE PROVIDED THE LOGISTICAL SERVICES WHICH MADE THIS EXERCISE POSSIBLE. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER MAYO'S INITIATIVE AND UNSWERVING DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

PETTY OFFICER BLANEY PERFORMED CATHOLIC LAY LED SERVICES AND CONDUCTED EVENING PRAYERS FOR THE CREW OF MOUNT WHITNEY AND EMBARKED SIXTH FLEET STAFF. HE TOOK PART AND ACTED AS A LIASON DURING THE PLANNING OF THE MEDAL OF HONOR CEREMONY FOR LT. CAPPODANO. PETTY OFFICER BLANEY WAS ALSO ASSISTANT WORK CENTER SUPERVISER FOR WORKCENTER CE02. HIS TECHNICAL SKILL ASSISTED IN THE RESTORATION OF NAVMACSII AND TACAN. HE ALSO MAINTAINED THE SHIP'S GLOBAL BROADCAST SERVICE ENSURING THE SHIP WAS ABLE TO RECIEVE TIMELY DELIVERY OF CLASSIFIED AND UNCLASSIFIED DATA AND VIDEO PRODUCTS FOR MISSION SUPPORT AND THEATER INFORMATION TRANSFERDURING OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN.
