EMNC Schnuckel volunteered to assist Electrical Division while on hold with SRS-36 because he heard about a severe manning issue and reported as an MOA instructor. EMNC immediately began identifying and correcting issues as well as training instructors within the division on circuit breakers and relateable teaching methods in order to repair two formal courses that were in dire need of extensive revision.

He worked with the Course Curriculum Model Manager (CCMM) for the "Circuit Breakers and Arc Fault Detection" and "Motor Controllers and Static Automatic Bus Transfer Controllers" formal courses in order to rewrite nearly every aspect of the course from PowerPoints to Instructor Guides, removing information that was incorrect or partial, and replacing it with information that was accurate and relevant. He then qualified to teach both of these courses and taught the next convening of both of these courses with the CCMM present in order to ensure the changes made flowed with the course and he was able to present them in a manner that made sense or the students. This included over 150 hours of instruction in both electronic class room and laboratory environments.

He worked with other CCMMs and Course Supervisors in order to rework outdated examinations and testing plans for each formal course under Electrical Division's purview, totaling 16 examination and 8 testing plan rewrites.

He was called upon by two outside entities in order to provide his subject matter expertise for critical input for the fleet. One instance was by the Submarine Learning Center Electrical Division Rate lead, as this position was being filled by an individual who was out-of-rate, EMNC Schnuckel was requested to be the Rate Leads designated SME reference, where, on numerous occasions, he would be asked to give his input for changes in Electrical Division course changes. The second was in order to participate in the EMN rating Occupational Standards Review where his input was taken for proposed changes to job expectations and execution for the overall fleet EMN rating.

Near the end of his tour with TTF, he was again called upon for his expertise in course administration as an acting Learning Standards Officer to fill the gap in the hiring process for a permanent LSO. As the acting Engineering LSO he was responsible for the oversights of 48 engineering courses including a moderate risk course and XX high risk training courses. during his time as the acting LSO he also implemented a local Corrective Action Check List tracker following the loss of the prior tracking system. this allowed course supervisors within engineering to view action items assigned to them without relying on an LSO to inform them verbally or via email.
