MERITORIOUS SERVICE AS THE DEPUTY SURGEMAIN COORDINATOR, PEARL HARBOR NAVAL SHIPYARD AND INTERMEDIATE MAINTENANCE FACILITY FROM 1 JANUARY 2013 TO 31 DECEMBER 2014. EN1 SAILOR DIRECTLY INCREASED SHIPYARD PRODUCTION CAPABILITY AND COST SAVINGS BY SYNCHRONIZING THE ARRIVAL, TRAINING AND DEPARTURE OF 545 NAVSEA SURGEMAIN AND SHIPS' TECHNICAL SUPPORT RESERVISTS TO MATCH REQUIREMENTS. PETTY OFFICER SAILOR'S PROGRAM LEADERSHIP LED TO THE SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION OF SURGEMAIN RESERVISTS TO PRODUCTION SHOPS AND OPTIMIZED THE USE OF FINITE MAINTENANCE RESOURCES. IN ADDITION, EN1 SAILOR DELIVERED 6,355 MAN DAYS OF WORK AT A COST SAVINGS OF $6,000,000 TO PHNSY AND WAS A KEY FACTOR IN THE SUCCESS OF THE SURGEMAIN PROGRAM AND ITS CONTINUED ADHERENCE TO HIGH STANDARDS. PETTY OFFICER SAILOR'S INITIATIVE, PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
