Demonstrated exceptional initiative by serving as the section's lead liaison with Benim, coordinating technical support requirements and obtaining vendor quotations for communications equipment and calibration services. Directed the coordination, tracking, and accountability of more than 640 gallons of fuel valued at over $2,500 in support of mission-essential equipment. As Yard Boss, expertly coordinated and executed the staging, loading, and offloading of more than 600,000 pounds of cargo. Seamlessly synchronized personnel, equipment, and cargo movements while personally contributing to mission execution, resulting in zero mishaps, complete accountability, and timely support to operational requirements.

Coordinated transportation support for the arrival of the Headquarters element, arranging timely passenger movement from the arrival point to designated lodging. Proactive planning and coordination ensured a seamless reception process and uninterrupted onward movement.

Extended critical Material Handling Equipment support to Joint, Coalition, and Host Nation partners outside the section's assigned responsibilities, enabling uninterrupted cargo movement and equipment handling across multiple organizations. Strengthened interoperability, expanded mission support capabilities, and allowed supported units to sustain operational momentum without delay.

Completed the Joint Professional Military Knowledge (EJPME) 40 course through Joint Knowledge Online, expanding professional knowledge of joint doctrine, multinational operations, and interservice integration. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and increased readiness to operate in Joint and Coalition environments.

Served as Fuels Petty Officer, coordinating the accountability, scheduling, and movement of more than 3.4 million pounds of JET A-1 fuel valued at approximately $5.8 million in support of aviation operations. Sustained continuous aircraft refueling capability, directly contributing to uninterrupted flight operations and mission execution.




ASSISTANT CONVOY COMMANDER

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HIS DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS THE SUPPORT ASSISTANT CONVOY COMMANDER DURING THE ULTRA-C EVOLUTION. DURING THIS PERIOD, PETTY OFFICER ABELONE PERFORMED HIS DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN EXEMPLARY AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HE VOLUNTEERED HIS TIME THREE MONTHS PRIOR AND LEADING UP TO THE EVOLUTION TO MAINTAIN A MANIFEST AND OSMEAC AT ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. HE HELPED ORGANIZE A MOVEMENT TRANSPORTING 13 PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AND 56 PERSONNEL TO AND FROM CAMP ROBERTS, CALIFORNIA DURING SQUAD LEADER TRAINING. AS SUPPORT FOR THE TRAINING, HE ACTED AS YARD BOSS, KEEPING ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ACCOUNTIBILITY OF ALL EQUIPMENT AND TRANSPORTATION FOR THE STUDENTS LEADING TO A SUCCESSFUL TRAINING EVOLUTION. PETTY OFFICER ABELONE'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND SELFLESS DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIM AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HER DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS MILITARY LIAISON OFFICE (MLO) YARD BOSS. PETTY OFFICER TYSON EXPERTLY PERFORMED HER DUTIES, WHICH WERE WELL ABOVE HER PAY GRADE, TO RECEIVE, STORE, DISTRIBUTE, AND MAINTAIN THE FILES FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF PROJECT MATERIAL FOR NMCB 27 DETAIL HORN OF AFRICA. PETTY OFFICER TYSON'S OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.




DET HOA TRANSPORTATION CHIEF

MERITORIOUS SERVICE WHILE SERVING AS DET HOA TRANSPORTATION CHIEF FROM SEPTEMBER 2017 TO MARCH 2018. DEMONSTRATING SUPERIOR UNDERSTANDING OF MANAGING CESE, PERSONNEL, AND SUPPORTING ALL CLDJ PROJECTS, CHIEF PETTY OFFICER RAMBO CONTRIBUTED TO DET HOA'S SUCCESS DURING MISSIONS VITAL TO THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM, HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE MISSIONS, AND PERSONNEL RECOVERY OPERATIONS. HE EFFECTIVELY MANAGED COMPLEX AIR AND GROUND MOVEMENTS TO FIVE PROJECT SITES AND SUPERVISED THE EXECUTION OF THREE VITAL ALFA COMPANY KEY BILLETS TO INCLUDE DISPATCHER, YARD BOSS, AND COLLATERAL CUSTODIAN. IN ADDITION, HE METHODICALLY GRADED 230 CD YARDS OF HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT ROAD MONTHLY WHICH DIRECTLY REDUCED THE AMOUNT OF WEAR AND TEAR ON THE CESE, REDUCING TIRE BLOWOUTS, BRAKE FAILURES, AND VEHICLE SUSPENSION MALFUNCTIONS BY HALF. MOREOVER, HE MANAGED THOUSANDS OF INDIRECT LABOR HOURS OF WORK, ENSURING FIRST TIME QUALITY AND DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE UNIT'S 88 PERCENT DURING THE TCRA FOR DET HOA. FINALLY, HIS EFFORTS ACROSS MULTIPLE PROJECTS DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF FORWARD POSITIONED SEABEES, RESULTING IN INCREASED COMMUNICATION AND FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT FOR JOINT FORCES. CHIEF PETTY OFFICER RAMBO'S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.
