Legal Clerk onboard Defense Service Office West Branch Office Lemoore. Demonstrating exceptional technical acumen and precision, accurately completed 105 initial client intakes/conflict checks, 80 evidence binders, 142 client interviews, and 61 hours of legal research, in the completion of 3 courts-martials, and 21 administrative separation boards. Served as Office Manager on numerous occasions when her attorney and Leading Petty Officer traveled to complete cases, leaving her as the only person to conduct daily operations throughout the AOR of a hundred thousand sailors across 18 states and 42 tenant commands.




As Legal Clerk, she tracked, maintained, redacted, and assembled 82 records of trial, ensuring zero discrepancies and certified 9,400 pieces of legal correspondence in support of 25 trials, ensured all were 100% in compliance with post trial checklists. As Security Department section leader, she trained 8 sailors and screened 500 staff and visitors, oversaw 30 pre-trial confinees, and enforced security measures for 3 medium risk trials. As Recreation committee vice president, led 9 of her peers and spearheaded 20 command social events and fundraisers, raising $3000 for the command holiday party.




LEGAL ACCURACY. As a legal clerk for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and InterMediate maintenance Facility, Petty Officer Reyes created a user friendly Access program to maintain and track over 377 SAUSA cases and over 20 Prosecution memorandums, resulting in zero discrepancies; and increasing productivity and efficiency for Monthly SAUSA Court. Petty Officer Reyes assisted in 6 Adminstrative Separation Boards, 4 Boards on Inquiry, and 7 Non-Judical Punishments.




HAMMER OF JUSTICE- Served as Legal Clerk and Legal Chief for 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Contributed to the administration of justice and to good order and discipline in the Marine Corps. Received, reviewed, prepared, and tracked 311 administrative separation packages and 13 officer misconduct and nonjudicial punishment cases, and prepared post-trial documents for 23 general courts-martial and 11 special courts-martial and drafted 49 JAGMAN endorsements for the 1st MAW Commanding General's consideration and signature. Her dedication and attention to detail earned the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate praise from the 1st MAW Commanding General. She developed a comprehensive standard operating procedure for the Staff Judge Advocate office that comprehended the duties of all members of the Staff Judge Advocate office. Additionally, she provided guidance to legal officers and legal chiefs from all 1st MAW subordinate elements on administrative separations, nonjudicial punishment, and courts-martial.




Hand selected as the legal clerk for 1st Medical Battalion. He was directly responsible for the review of 27 nonjudicial punishments, 12 administrative separations, 12 investigations, and 89 command review boards. His attention to detail earned the battalion a superior grade of 100 percent and zero deficiencies on the most recent commanding general's inspection program.




As Legal Clerk, Headquarters Company, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Lance Corporal went above and beyond his assigned duties and took initiative to complete tasks beyond his rank and position. Lance Corporal, while managing the duties assigned to him as Legal Clerk, Awards Clerk, and Administrative Specialist, also served as the Commanding Officer's Driver and Protocol Officer. Lance Corporal's dedication, attention to detail, and hard work brought honor to himself, his unit, and the entire Naval Service.
