Led two case managers who were responsible for the care coordination and management of 458 complex patients and twenty-two wounded warriors, recapturing 1.8 million dollars in specialty care leakage. She drove training of twenty medical providers on the Exceptional Family Member Program enrollment criteria, increasing enrollment by twenty percent. Deployed in support of FEMA tasking to supplement a nursing shortage that averted the closure of a twenty-one units and a 418 bed in-patient facility.
As REDCOM Norfolk MEDHOLD LPO, he lead 10 Sailors and 2 civilian case managers while assisting three Senior Medical Officers in the care and case management of over 275 Wounded Warriors. His leadership assured that 3,000 appointments were set while managing a $50,000 travel claim budget to ensure the Wounded Warriors were cared for and pay and entitlements were adjudicated correctly, assisting Sailors in returning back to the Reserve Force for mission support.
An Administrative Assistant in PERS-95, she drafted, tracked and processed over 220 correspondence letters for the Reserve Component NOSC Sailors who incurred or aggravated an injury while in the line of duty. In addition she served as a Temporary Disability Retirement List (TDRL) case manager by processing 610 contact letters, email correspondence, telephone communications, 237 travel order requests and over 875 transactions. She also participated as part of a mobile immunization team and administered Flu-vaccines to over 625 Navy members at NPC.
The Administrative Leading Petty Officer in PERS-95, he administratively drafted, tracked and processed over 550 pieces of correspondence between all stakeholders involving over 400 cases for six Reserve Component Commands and five Squadrons. He successfully trained two of his peers who drafted over 150 pieces of correspondence, enhanced 30 PERS-95 Admin letter templates, created and implemented a step-by-step SOP for LOD case managers to accurately track each of their cases and facilitated several HM Advancement and Professional Military Knowledge trainings. As an ACFL, he provided guidance, instruction and motivation to over 30 Sailors.
